Bangor will aim to move one step closer to what looks like an inevitable second Premier Division title in three years when they entertain Pwllheli on Saturday.

With three rounds of matches remaining, the Citizens hold a commanding 17-point lead at the summit.

Technically, the title could be won on Saturday although for that to happen there would need to be an unusual set of results.

Bangor have won their last seven completed league matches and were comfortable eight wicket victors at Pwllheli back in June.

The Ty Newydd side will again look to the league’s leading wicket-taker Franco Kasner to be effective. The South African needs just two more victims to reach 50 for the season.

Second place Menai Bridge must beat Northop at home to keep their distant title dreams alive, while match of the day could be the fourth versus third clash at The Oval, where Llandudno entertain Mochdre.

Pontblyddyn will be desperate for a win at Gresford to boost their outside hopes of escaping relegation.
