Ammanford 0-5 Caernarfon Town
Five-star Caernarfon could easily have reached double figures but for the woodwork and heroics of Ammanford’s under-siege keeper Oliver Williams.
Phil Mooney and Sion Bradley scored two apiece for the third-place Cofis, while there was also the tremendous bonus of a first goal for 17-year-old substitute Hari Wyn.
Town almost took an early lead when Bradley’s 20-yard drive came back off the post and Zack Clarke’s effort from the rebound was deflected wide.
The deadlock was broken in the 22nd minute when a Chris Marriott corner from the right was glanced home by the head of Mooney.
Another Marriott delivery, this time from the left, led to a second goal, the full-back’s cross only cleared as far as Bradley who drilled home low from the edge of the box.
Half-time: 0-2
The second half continued the theme of the first – constant Caernarfon pressure.
Noah Edwards fired towards the near post, but keeper Williams got down to block the attempt with his legs.
Things got worse for Ammanford in the 67th minute when sub Offrande Zanzala was held back by home defender Lucas Davies trying to reach a Mooney cross.
Referee Iwan Arwel Griffith awarded a penalty to the visitors and showed Davies a red card.
Bradley netted from the spot for his fourth goal of the season.
Williams produced a great diving stop to deny Jake Canavan before sub Matty Jones crossed for Mooney to nod in his second with 90 on the clock.
And there was time for one more from the North Wales travellers, Jones laying the ball across the edge of the box where Hari Wyn fired in left-footed.
Airbus UK Broughton 0-2 The New Saints
Goals from Daniel Williams on 31 minutes and Rory Holden after 40 secured the points for leaders The New Saints, whose manager Craig Harrison was shown a red card at the end of the first half.
Barry Town United 4-1 Llandudno
Barry bounced back from their first defeat of the season last weekend in style with a beating of Llandudno at Jenner Park.
Elliott Dugan (pen), Noah Daley, Daniel Barton and Ellis Williams shared the goals for Barry with Mark Cadwallader replying for Tudno, who had Kieran Smith red-carded in the 92nd minute.
Cambrian United 2-1 Holywell Town
Liam Eason’s double sealed the points for Cambrian, Holywell responding late on through Florian Yonsian.
Flint Town United 1-1 Cardiff Met University
Every point could be vital this season and the one Flint gained on Friday kept them out of the bottom three.
Isaac Modi netted in the very first minute for the Silkmen, but unfortunately thr hosts had Ben Woollam red-carded on 59 before Jack Veale levelled from the penalty spot.
Cardiff Met had CJ Craven dismissed after 89 for a second yellow.
