Gareth Fox’s unbeaten ton carried Gwersyllt Park seconds to a glorious victory in Sunday’s Wrexham derby against Brymbo seconds.
The Steelmen batted first and set 176-4 off 40 overs, Gareth Pugh 80 not out and Duncan Roberts 52 no, that pair putting on an unbroken 95 for the fourth wicket, Liam Lynes 2-27 for Park.
In reply, the hosts reached 177-4 off 37.2, Fox hitting 108 not out including 19 fours and two sixes – his second century of the season.
Pugh picked up 2-27 for the losing side.
