ARDAL NORTH WEST: Seven for Llannefydd, Collo stunner seals Llay win, Felinheli robbed?

LOCK STOCK ARDAL NORTH WEST – REPORTS DECEMBER 19-20
CPD Llannefydd 7 Pwllheli 3
Hat-trick hero Gwion Owen bagged his first goals since August as Llannefydd rattled up a magnificent seven in Saturday’s home triumph over Pwllheli.
Buoyed by their previous weekend elimination of holders Port Talbot to reach the FAW Amateur Trophy quarter-finals, Ally Stubbs’ side carried that momentum into the league.
The hosts led 2-0 at half time, Elgan Roberts converting a 22nd minute penalty before Owen grabbed his first after 30 via a Llion Morris assist.
Pwllheli pulled one back 13 minutes into the second half when exciting young prospect Hari Lambe cut the deficit.
However, Llannefydd were soon in control again when sub Morris netted on 62, the assist from Owen, who himself made it 4-1 after 68, Roberts the chance supplier.
Owen completed his treble on 80, Mathew Jones assisting, then Morris brought up a brace after 82 – his 11th goal of the campaign.
Sean James stretched the lead to 7-1 after 84 before Cian Pritchard, a recent signing from Penrhyndeudraeth, pulled one back with his 19th goal this term and captain Josua Jones snapped up a third for the Llŷn Peninsula travellers.
Llangefni Town 1 CPD Y Felinheli 1

A fine result for Y Felinheli, whose performances continue to improve, but they will feel aggrieved they had what looked like a legitimate deciding goal ruled out,
The visitors took a second-minute lead at Cae Bob Parry, Iwan Owen setting up Caio Hughes for the finish.
Cefni equalised after 21 whenIfan Mansoor, whose winner sent his team into the Amateur Trophy quarters seven days earlier, found the net to make it nine goals for the campaign.
Well into the second half, Felin had a chance of a winner when Hughes was fouled in the box and the referee pointed to the spot.
Byron Davis’ penalty came back off the underside of the bar and the ball clearly looked to have crossed the line – a still picture and video footage captured by the club photographer proved this – but the officials signalled no goal.
Davis followed up to knock in the rebound, but the goal was disallowed as it constituted two touches, the keeper having not got a hand on the pen.
The highly-disappointed visitors had Cal Macdonald dismissed for a second yellow in the 93rd minute.
Llay Welfare 2 Prestatyn Town 1
Jonathan Collo’s 96th minute rocket won the day for Llay at The Ring.
It appeared the points would be shared until ever-consistent marksman Collo clinched the points with a screamer – his second goal of the game and 13th of the season.
Town took a 14th minute lead when James Stevens teed up Jake Walker to make it 1-0.
Collo levelled a minute before the break, Josh Phillips with the assist.
In a highly-competitive second half, there was no change to the scoreline until Collo’s stunner won it for the Welly.
NFA 2 Penmaenmawr Phoenix 2
Phoenix battled back from two goals down to grab a draw at Ffordd Derwen.
Owen Herbert edged NFA in front on 38 minutes via a Harry Lockley assist, then Macauley Taylor made it 2-0 after 54, Jack Parry-Jones the provider.
On 62 minutes, sub Daniel McIlvogue replied for Pen, fellow replacement Ricky Jones the chance supplier.
Then after 84, Leon Atkins, who joined the club from Prestatyn Town in October, levelled things up when hbenefited from a Jay Sutton assist.
Connah’s Quay Town 2 Mynydd Isa 2
Town recovered a two-goal deficit to earn a point in Friday’s derby.
Aiming to make it a double over a Quay side they beat 2-1 at home in October, Isa, who had not won in six games since, took a 10th minute lead through Kieran Jones, Dan Wainwright with the assist.
It stayed 1-0 up to the break, then just three minutes after the restart, Jack Aitken assisted in James Beck doubling the away advantage.
Alister Randles replied for the hosts two minutes later, but it remained 2-1 until the 89th minute when Harris Thomas converted from a Daniel Horton assist to salvage a home point.
Trearddur Bay 4 Bethesda Athletic 1
Goals from Tom Hilditch, Toby Jones, the returning Les Davies and Harry McMullan secured three points for Trearddur Bay, who were forced to play the entire second half with 10 men after the 45th minute red card shown to Harri Jones.
Bethesda had their chances, but could only accept one through Osian Hughes.
