NWCFA Development League: Junction end Prestatyn’s run of victories, Nantlle Vale make it six straight wins

NORTH WALES COAST FA DEVELOPMENT LEAGUE REPORTS – SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 6
EAST DIVISION

Junction fought back from 3-1 down to send leaders Prestatyn Town tumbling to their first league defeat of the season after six successive wins.
Charley Graham handed Town a ninth minute lead at The Flyover, Cameron Watters equalised on 28, but Barry Roche fired the Seasiders back in front at the 45+3 mark via a Graham assist.
When Kai Paolucci put Prestatyn 3-1 ahead three minutes into the second half, it looked like the visitors were on their way to another victory, but the Railwaymen pulled one back on 68 through Frankie Senior and then came a big Junction finish.
On 85 minutes Elliot Roberts made it three-apiece before in the 88th sub Isaac Willet bagged a home winner.
To complete a disappointing afternoon for Prestatyn, player-manager and substitute Josh Tambs was red carded on 89.

Deacan Leuty (2, 1 pen), William Rylance (2), Riley Cranham, Thomas Wardle, Kaiden Gorry and Charlie Jones shared the goals in a big away win for Mochdre.

Deio Jones was a four-goal star for a Henllan side which came out on top in Sunday’s derby thriller.
George Pierce and Cai Jones also netted for the visitors, a Zak Williams double and Jac Uden single having put Denbigh 3-1 up at half time.
Henllan pulled it back to 3-3, Josh Davies restored the Denbigh lead, but then the away side knocked in three more to win the game.

Bangor recorded their first win of the season by edging a seven-goal cracker against Llanberis.
Lucas Cruz hit a hat-trick and Dyfan Roberts a single for the Citizens, Caio Jones (2) and Gruff Harris for the Darans.

Gruff Sandison’s 93rd minute derby decider for Gaerwen turned out to be the only goal at Maes Eilian.

Nantlle Vale joined Pwllheli on six straight wins at the summit, the pair both boasting 100% records so far.
Sunday’s win for the Penygroes side was secured with goals from Jac Lewis (2) and Tomos Jones, Sion Williams responding for Llanrug.
