NWCFA WOMEN’S CHALLENGE CUP FIRST ROUND
Llangefni Town 1 (J Jones 17)
CPD Bangor City 1876 2 (H Owen 20, Mano 77)
Bangor continued their flying start to the season with a second big away win in four days.
Amy Mano fired in the 77th minute goal which clinched victory at Llangefni Town on Wednesday night.
Cefni took a 17th minute lead when Jess Woods set up Jess Jones for her first competitive goal since returning to the club from Bangor.
Three minutes later it was 1-1 when Ellie Jones fed the ball down the left for ex-Llangefni winger Hannah Owen, who burst into the box and slotted past keeper Megan Robinson.
It remained one-apiece until 13 minutes from time, when a corner was flicked on by Menna Ellis to defender Mano, who showed great footwork before drilling in the winner.
