One of the best strikers around at Tier 4 and 5 level has joined North Wales Coast East Division One side Llandyrnog after two prolific seasons at CPD Llansannan.
Appleby, 33, joined Sannan in August 2023 and went on to score 44 goals in 41 games for the North Wales Coast East Premier club.

Scored on his debut this month for a Llandyrnog outfit which looks well set to challenge for the Division One title this term.

James Burgess (to Gwalchmai)

Well-travelled striker comes out of retirement aged 40 to help his former club Gwalchmai in their hour of need.
Gwalch have lost numerous players to other clubs over the summer, especially in the striking department, so getting Burgess back on board is a real boost.
He last played for Llannerchymedd in 2023-24.
Previous clubs include Glantraeth, Amlwch Town, Bodedern, Penmaenmawr Phoenix, Menai Bridge and Cemaes Bay, as well as Gwalchmai and Llannerchymedd.
A powerful front man at his peak with an eye for goal, his best returns in a season include 24 goals for Bodedern in 2013-14 and 19 for Glantraeth/Gwalchmai in 2014-15.

Tomos Cardias-Williams (Llanrwst United to Prestatyn Town)

Midfielder Cardias-Williams (known as Cad) joins from Llanrwst to link up with Prestatyn boss Gareth Thomas again, having previously worked with him at Conwy Borough.
Cad, 30, is a versatile player who can play across midfield or defence and will be a top addition to the squad and its depth.
Gareth Thomas said: “He’s strong, good on the ball and will bring more strength and power to the midfield. He’s been with us since pre-season but due to his job, has been unavailable, but will go straight into the squad this Friday.”
Cad spent the 2024-25 season at Llanrwst, making 29 appearances for the Ardal North West club and prior to that had a long spell at Conwy Borough.

Kyle Robb (to Prestatyn Town)

Attacking player Robb commits to Prestatyn after spending the last two seasons with Bow FC.
Manager Thomas said: “Again Kyle has been with us for a few sessions and played in a reserve game the other week. He’s agreed to join Town ahead of several Tier 2-3 teams.
“Technically very good on the ball and has a good goalscoring record. He will be another good addition to the squad.”
Robb, 28, spent the 2023-24 and 2024-25 seasons at the now disbanded Bow, scoring 17 goals in 26 total appearances. He was part of the Bow squad which won the 2023-24 North Wales Coast East Division One title and REM Jones Cup double.

Last season he made 13 top-flight appearances for a Newtown side which ended up losing its Cymru Premier status after a 33-year stay.

In 2022-23, Atkins was named Cymru North Young Player of the Season after netting 22 goals in 28 appearances for Prestatyn Town under Chris Jones, now Porthmadog boss.
Atkins, who can play on the wings or as a striker, also had past experience with English North West club AFC Knowsley, before moving into Welsh football.

Quality defender Williams is back with Port, where he first played in the 2012/13 season.
The 31-year-old returns to the Traeth club in a loan deal from Caernarfon Town of the Cymru Premier.
He will bring versatility and a wealth of experience to Ardal North West Port’s defence and midfield.
Williams first joined Port from Llanrug United where his team-mates at the time included Richard Harvey, Ryan Davies, Rhys Roberts and Mike Foster.
The defender eventually moved on in 2019 to join Sean Eardley’s Caernarfon squad,
There he became an important member of the Oval club’s defence and last season was part of the Cofis exciting venture into Europe. He has made 138 Cymru Premier League appearances for the Canaries.

“I’m delighted to be back home,” said Lockley.
“I’ve had so many special memories at Denbigh and having the chance to come back, it was a really easy decision.”
Lockley began his career with Rhyl before a spell with Flint Town United. Following his time in Flintshire, he moved on to Conwy Borough and, after a season on the coast, joined Denbigh.
In his first campaign, he won the league and cup double at Central Park in a season cut short due to health issues. In his second campaign he played a handful of games before requiring a successful kidney transplant.
In October 2024, he joined NFA where he featured 24 times, scoring three goals for the Rhyl-based outfit.
