Premier Division cricket – Pwllheli pair hit tons, Brymbo beat Llandudno

Jason Underwood and skipper Morgan Murray-Williams both struck tons for Pwllheli in a resounding win over visitors Bangor at Parc Bodegroes.
Winning the toss and deciding to bat, Pwll were 32-2 before Underwood and Murray-Williams came together in the middle.
The pair added 213 for the third wicket against a very capable Bangor attack.
Underwood hit 124 off just 88 deliveries, smashing 11 fours and four sixes, while Murray-Williams posted 112 not out, including 12 boundaries and a maximum.
Pwllheli finished on a massive 302-3 off 50 overs, Michael Hughes (23 no) and Murray-Williams putting on an unbeaten 57 for the fourth wicket.
In reply, the citizens were limited to 202-7, meaning Pwllheli won by 100 runs exactly and a 14-1 points margin.
Nadeem Rehman did best with 39 for the visitors against his old club, Syed Kaleem Aslam 2-24 for the hosts.

Daniel Parry and Joseph Norman’s unbroken sixth wicket stand of 110 guided Brymbo to victory over Llandudno.
Put into bat, Tudno set 220-9 off 50 overs, opener Sam Rimmington with a fine 97, Jamie Grimshaw adding 39 with Connor Davies taking 3-62 and Daniel Parry 2-31 from 12 for the Steelmen.
With rain interrupting the home innings, Brymbo faced a new target of 192 off 41 overs. They got there with two-and-a-half overs to spare, ending on 195-5.
Skipper James Claybrook made 52, but the hosts were in bother on 89-5 before Parry (61 no) and Norman (39 no) took them to the winning post without further loss.
Tom Thornton grabbed 4-36 for the visitors.
