Decent start for NFA against young Chester side

NFA got off to a promising start

NFA 3
Chester Development 3

Sunday afternoon saw Rhyl side NFA produce an encouraging performance in their first friendly after a long lay-off.

They came up against a young Chester Development squad at Rhyl High School and more than matched the opposition.

Rachel Lloyd, Amy Chesters and Ashleigh Mills found the net for the hosts, while Chester replied through Alisha Wright, Niamh Bridson and Ellie Kent.

Player of the match for NFA was Holly Rees.

NFA coach Andy Lloyd paid tribute to the team’s finishing and the quality of football they produced.

“Some fitness to be worked on during the coming weeks, but looking forward to the coming season,” he said. “We matched them and played some lovely football ourselves.”
