DIVISION ONE
Halkyn 1st XI (18) 305-10 Bangor 2nd XI (6) 131-9
Skipper Ben Roberts hit a fine century for a Halkyn side which edged up to third in Division One after their latest victory.
Roberts made 106 off 88 balls and struck 14 fours as the hosts decided to bat after winning the toss.
Alex North (44) joined the captain in a second-wicket stand of 131 and Hammad Bajwa went on to score 54, the Flintshire side ending 305 all out off 44.5 overs.
Jamie Davies picked up 4-47 for the visitors, Tomos Davies 2-54 and Matthew Flynn 2-65.
Bangor seconds were restricted to 131-9, Peter Jones 48, Ryan Ferguson taking an outstanding career-best 6-18 off nine overs, Faizan Usman 2-37.
Abergele 1st XI (18) 185-10 Connah’s Quay 1st XI (8) 176-10
Skipper Luke Holmes made a crucial 61 as Abergele celebrated a nine-run triumph at Pentre Mawr Park.
Gele chose to bat and were all back in the pavilion for 185 off 43.2 overs having been 65-5, Holmes’ half-ton including nine fours and two sixes, while Osian Thomas added a very useful 45 not out.
Mali Auty claimed 3-25, Joshua Clarke 2-21 and Lee Davies 2-34 for the Deesiders.
In reply, the Quay looked to be heading for defeat at 124-7, but the tail wagged and they eventually got as close as 176 before the last wicket fell,
Anro Burger top-scored with 32 for the visitors, David Moulson pocketing 3-22, Gareth J Edwards 2-30 and Ajith Balakrishnan 2-36 for the winners.
Buckley 1st XI (18) 108-2 Conwy 1st XI (1) 107-10
Fabio Franco scooped 3-14, Abbey Mayers 3-27 and Matthew Blunden 2-3 as Buckley dismissed a Conwy side which opted to bat for 107 in just 23.3 overs.
The hosts breezed to 108-2 in a mere 15.4 overs, Danny Peover (40 not out) and Chris Geary (29 no) putting on an unbroken 81 for the third wicket.
Gresford 1st XI (18) 294-2 Mochdre 2nd XI (5) 205-6
Joseph Benson and skipper Joshua Knowles both recorded major centuries in Gresford’s huge total of 294-2 off 45 overs.
The pair put on 258 for the second wicket, Benson hitting 135 off 116 balls – 19 fours – while Knowles finished not out on 120 – 18 boundaries – in an immense partnership.
Mochdre’s reply ended on 205-6, Chris Barry 67 not out and Owen Opie 40, Simon Perry 3-27 for the home side, who triumphed by 89 runs and 18-5 on points.
Northop 2nd XI (5) 179-10 Llandudno 1st XI (18) 180-5
Calling the coin correctly and deciding on first knock, Northop seconds were in dire straits at 47-7 before recovering to set a decent total of 179 all out.
Michael Vernon (53) and Tom Sudder (47 no) did most to help the hosts restore respectability, Sean McFarlane taking 3-76, Lalmon TV 2-12 and Tom Thornton 2-26 for Tudno.
The Division One leaders got home on 180-5, Elliott Hughes 46, Sam Rimmington 43 and McFarlane 32, Elliott Berg 2-46 for Northop.
Pontblyddyn 1st XI (4) 44-10 Bethesda 1st XI (18) 202-9
After posting a total of 202-9, Bethesda then skittled out the opposition for a paltry 44 on their home wicket.
Skipper Ben Parker led the way for Pesda with 78, Harry Devine adding 36 and Jamie Herbert 32, Ben Mason 4-36 and Gethin Thomas 2-19 for the hosts.
Second-place Pont then suffered an almighty collapse with just one batsman making double figures, Marlyn Gamage snapping up 3-17, John Maloney 3-19, Devine 2-1 and Parker 2-5 for the resounding away winners.
