Brymbo hoping for large support when they visit Briton Ferry Town in Cricket Welsh Cup semi-final

Brymbo Cricket Club are hoping for a large travelling support when they journey to South Wales later this month for a Welsh Cup semi-final.

The North Wales League Premier Division side have landed an away tie against South Wales Cricket Association Division One outfit Briton Ferry Town on Sunday, August 16.

Brymbo reached the last four on Sunday with a cracking four-wicket victory in Ammanford.

As three-time winners of the Welsh Cup, the Steelmen are North Wales’ most successful team in the national knockout.

Brymbo put out the following message on their social media yesterday:
On Sunday 16th August, Brymbo Cricket Club heads south for the Welsh Cup Semi Final against Briton Ferry Town CC.
This isn’t just a day for the players. It’s a day for the whole club.
The lads have worked incredibly hard to earn their place in the last four, and now they need the backing of the Blue & Yellow Army. A loud, passionate Brymbo following can make all the difference, especially with such a long trip away from home.
Whether you’re a current player, junior player, parent, volunteer, sponsor, former player or loyal supporter, we’d love you to travel with us and be part of the occasion. Let’s fill the bus, fill the boundary, and show everyone what Brymbo CC is all about.
