Pontblyddyn 2nd XI conceded

Buckley (15) 34-1 Llanrwst (0) 32-10

Leaders Buckley romped to victory in a match which lasted just 20 overs and one ball.
Llanrwst were put into bat and dismissed for a paltry 32 off 16.3, Ollie Fellows and Harry Sprowell both taking 4-14.
When Bucks replied, Rocco Franco was the only batsman to score, his 31 not out comprising six fours and a six taking the hosts to 34-1 off 3.4 overs.

Corwen (15) 59-1 Ruthin (0) 55-10

Jordan Williams scooped 5-18 as Corwen blew away Ruthin for just 55 after putting their opponents into bat.
Steff Lloyd took 2-18 for the home side, who skipped to 59-1 off 10.5 for a maximum points triumph.

Marchwiel & Wrexham (1) 151-10 Carmel & District (14) 153-2

Great win for Carmel who bowled out hosts Marchwiel and Wrexham for 151, Chris Woodcock posting 48 while Amer Jamil took 3-15 and Syam Sreedharan 3-32 for the travellers.
Maneesha Ayomal Nissanka struck 84 not out and Supun Eranga 38 as the away side reached a winning 153-2 off 38, George Forgrave 2-29.

Pwllheli (12) 141-10 Llay Welfare (3) 97-10

Kalim Al Baloshi (34) and Adam Wlliams (32) made vital scores as Pwllheli set 141 all out at Parc Bodegroes after electing to bat.
Jacob Roberts snapped up an impressive 5-25 and Jack Edwards 2-29 for Llay, who could only muster 97 all out in reply, skipper Tom Parry 36, Kartik Bhardwaj 3-23, Al Baloshi 2-20 and Harri Adams 2-25 for the successful Llŷn Peninsula outfit.

St Asaph 2nd XI (14) 236-2 Menai Bridge 2nd XI (1) 235-2

Dave North made a career best 114 not out for a St Asaph seconds side which won a high-scoring tussle at Elwy Park Grove.
North, who recorded his maiden ton on the same ground and in the same month against Carmel three years ago, did most to guide Saints to an eight-wicket victory.
Menai Bridge seconds were inserted by the opposition and piled up 235-2 off 40 overs, Samuel Bixby hitting 93, skipper Matt Bixby 90 not out and Ian Grainger 30.
Asaph reached 236-2 off 36, North receiving great support from young Ankush Upadhyaya (70 not out).

DIVISION THREE

Bersham (12) 108-6 Bethesda 2nd XI (3) 107-10

Noufal Khader claimed 3-7 off eight overs, Salu Sebastian 2-18 and Jijin Joseph 2-20 as Bersham removed Bethesda seconds for 107, Sopan Patil 41 not out.
The Colliers got home on 108-6 in just 14.2 overs, Arun Prabha 3-34 for the visitors.

Denbigh 2nd XI (15) 73-1 Buckley 2nd XI (0) 70-10

Leaders Denbigh seconds maintain a commanding lead at the summit after taking maximum points against Buckley seconds at Ystrad Road.
Jatin Sharma (43 not out) carried his bat, but Bucks could only produce a total of 70, Sam Kitching notching 4-10 and David Kitching 3-12 for the hosts, who eased to 73-1 off 10.1, Andy Thomas 36.

Gresford 2nd XI (1) 172-8 Conwy 2nd XI (14) 174-2

Openers Carwyn Thomas (59 not out) and Gareth Thomas (42) laid the foundations for a comfortable Conwy seconds success at Clappers Lane.

Invited to bat, Gresford seconds made a decent 172-8 off 40, David Baker 40 and Jamie Dixon 36, Rory Gray-Thomas 4-18, Nick Davies 2-25 and Stuart Watkins 2-35 for the visitors, who then reached 174-2 off 34.2 for a 14-1 points verdict, the Thomas pairing providing the ideal beginning before Watkins added 39 not out.

Gwersyllt Park 2nd XI (14) 203-6 Caernarfon (1) 104-10

Ethan McCarthy’s 85 and 54 not out from skipper Ben Griffiths ensured Gwersyllt Park seconds laid down a winning total, Amdadul Hoque pocketing a fine 4-37 for the visitors.
Caernarfon managed to sneak a losing point by reaching 104 all out, Hoque and Brendan Donnelly both making 30, the latter not out, Ted Pearson 3-19, Griffiths 3-33 and McCarthy bagging 2-31 for the hosts.

Hawarden Park 2nd XI (4) 171-4 Mold 2nd XI (11) 172-8

Mold remain in second place after edging a two-wicket win at Moor Lane.
Put in, Hawarden Park seconds chalked up 171-4, skipper Haseeb Hanif 55 not out, Owen Williams 45 and Craig Wilson 39, Craig Embleton 3-21 off eight for the visitors.
Mold hit back with 172-8 with an over to spare, openers Craig Roberts 34 and Daniel Williams 33, David Graham 30, Robert Goodwin 2-30 and Owen Ford 2-38 for Park.

Llandudno 2nd XI (2) 150-7 Abergele 2nd XI (13) 151-4

Decisive knocks of 65 not out from Arun Arikkat and David Holmes’ 45 did much to carry Abergele seconds to victory at The Oval.
Opener Sam Rimmington hit 83 in Llandudno seconds’ effort of 150-7 off 40, Holmes 2-18 and Osian Murray Williams 2-22 for Gele, who replied with 151-4 off 25.2, Arikkat and Holmes the mainstays. Mike Gwynne with an impressive 3-29 for the hosts.

Clwb Criced Y Bala (2) 173-10 Hawarden Park 3rd XI (13) 175-5

Good contest at Castle Park.
Bala won the toss, elected to bat, and were 173 all out, Rubel Ahmed 54 off 55 balls with eight fours and a six, skipper Josh Mackintosh 33 and Paul Threlfall 30, Aryan Aryan taking 4-41 for Hawarden thirds, Evan Cooper 2-14 and Jo Robinson 2-25.
Hawarden made it to 175-5 off 38, Quinn Martin (namesake of a famous American television producer – The Streets of San Francisco) making 44, Robinson 34 and John Cooper 30 not out, Alys Evans 2-41 for the hosts.

Carmel & District 2nd XI (4) 100-10 Halkyn 2nd XI (11) 101-10

Carmel seconds lost by a single run in a thriller at Pen-y-Gelli.
Halkyn seconds were put in and bowled out for 101 in 27.4, Sam Hamilton 46, while Ranjuth Appuhamy took 3-26 and Dafydd Timothy, the 2,000 wickets evergreen legend, claimed second best season figures of 3-33.
Carmel got ever so close in response, but were dismissed for 100 exactly in the 36th over, Ryan Ferguson 3-13, Tony Green (it’s a Bullseye!) 3-27 and Philip Hamilton 2-2.

While Llanrwst’s first team were skittled out for just 32 at Buckley, their seconds dismissed their opponents for just 23!
A famous pundit once called football ‘a funny old game‘ – well, cricket can produce some crazy coincidences and occrrrances too.
Lee Thomas top-scored with 52 as the Rwsters concocted a modest 148-7 off 40, Ioan Morgan a magical 6-16 for eight-player Pwllheli seconds, who were then blasted out for a mere 23. Daniel Jones 4-9 and Thomas 3-14.

Mynydd Isa & Maeshafn (1) 95-10 Connahs Quay 2nd XI (14) 96-3

Third-place Connah’s Quay seconds continued their pursuit of the top two with a seven-wicket verdict at Argoed SSC.
Nathan Gregory poached 3-23, Chris Boden 3-30 and Hashmat Safi 2-20 as the Quay sent Mynydd Isa and Maeshafn packing for 95 after putting the hosts in.
Lucas Probert made 44 and Andy Tilley 30 as Quay responded with a winning 96-3 off 27, Aryaman Arora 2-13.

Ruthin 2nd XI (0) 95-10 Brymbo 3rd XI (15) 222-3

Table-toppers Brymbo thirds dished out a 15-0 pasting at the Memorial Fields.
Owain Pryce struck a career highest 114 not out as the Steelmen amassed 222-3 off 40, while skipper Charlie Crosdale added 37, Ian Goldston a very good 2-14 off eight for Ruthin seconds, who were bowled out for 95, Sam Manning 3-28 and Madhu Babu 2-0.
