Bethesda Rovers 3 Llanrug United 3 (Llanrug won 9-8 on penalties)
A thriller at Treborth Playing Fields was eventually won 9-8 on spot-kicks by tier 4 Llanrug, who were pushed all the way by fifth-tier underdogs Rovers.
Joshua Evans put the visitors in front through an eighth-minute penalty before Ryan Roberts levelled near to half time.
Adrian Roberts nudged Pesda ahead from the spot on 55, but sub Osian Neary made it 2-2 after 76 before United took the lead for the first time through Owain Jones with 83 gone.
Ryan Roberts equalised for Rovers and a minute later Llanrug coach Gwion Williams was shown a straight red card.
Penalties were needed to decide a winner and Llanrug edged it.

Asa Thomas scored twice on debut for new club Cemaes Bay who were given a good battle by tier 5 underdogs Blue Bridge – especially in the second half.
Four goals in 15 first half minutes put the tier 4 visitors in total command, Thomas striking after 24 and 38 minutes to reach 726 career goals, while Codie Holland and Tom Wood were also on target.
Bridge made it much harder for their opponents in the second half, restricting them to just one more goal scored by substitute Keenan Downey.
Luke McGuinness produced some marvellous saves for Blue Bridge, who did their division proud.

Bontnewydd 1 CPD Llannefydd 5
Gwion Owen, Ianto Price Jones, Llion Morris, Rhidian Williams and sub Lewys Turner notched a goal apiece for a victorious Llannefydd, 17-year-old Jac Thompson with a consolation for Bont.

Broughton United 5 CPD Penrhyndeudraeth 1
Captain Elliott Evans led the way with a double as tier 4 newcomers Broughton put their long-distance visitors to the sword.
Jayden Evans, Luke Muia and an Ifan Jones own goal made up the rest, Cian Pritchard replying for an outgunned Penrhyndeudraeth.

Cefn Albion 2 Rhos Aelwyd 1 (abandoned 89 minutes due to injury)
Unfortunately, this tie was abandoned in the 89th minute following a serious injury to Albion player Jamie Foulkes.
A Cefn Albion spokesman said: “The incident brought a premature and sombre end to what was a well-contested local derby.
“Our immediate thoughts are with Jamie, and everyone at Cefn Albion is wishing him a full and speedy recovery. We will provide an update on Jamie and the outcome of the fixture.”

A fantastic crowd packed out the MUGA for a fiercely-contested Welsh Cup qualifier between two local rivals.
Sixteen-year-old Thomas Broadhurst marked his senior debut in style with two well-taken goals for Cefn after Evan Davies had scored first for Rhos.

Rhys Hughes (3) and a Jon Williams own goal secured tier 3 side Bow Street’s passage to the next round at the expense of tier 5 hosts who gave it all they had.

CPD Cerrigydrudion 3 Llangoed and District 1
Gruffudd Edwards was a hat-trick hero for Cerrigydrudion, who played the entire second half with 10 men following a red card for Harri Watkin-Jones.
Edwards put Cerrig two-up before Dylan Williams replied for the Anglesey side close to the break.

Coedpoeth United 6 CPD Deiniolen 3
Adam Lloyd struck four times for Coedpoeth, including two goals in the closing minutes which finally killed off the challenge of a determined Deiniolen.
Rhys Pettigrew and Tomos Williams added singles for the hosts, Dafydd Jones, Sion Foulkes and Jonny Cyster bringing the visitors level at 3-3 before tier 4 Coedy pulled clear in the closing stages.

Connah’s Quay Town 0 Llay Welfare 1
Jonathan Collo settled this all-tier 3 tie with an 82nd minute decider from a David MacIntyre assist.
Jonny Taylor marked his debut for Town with an 18th minute red card.

Conwy Borough Swifts 1 Rhydymwyn 0
James Frost pocketed a 66th minute winner in this close-fought clash of former tier 2 clubs.

FC Queen’s Park 3 Mynydd Llandegai 0
Two late goals were needed to clinch this one for Wrexham side Park.
Sam Molyneux broke the deadlock on 36 minutes for the hosts, but the remaining strikes from Ryan Kershaw and Ryan Jakovlevs did not arrive until the 88th and 89th respectively.

Pesda led 2-0, Felin fought back to 2-2, but then Athletic bagged a quickfire brace to settle this tussle of tier 3 teams.
Goals from Sion Bullock on 13 minutes and Joe Todd after 21 put the visitors in command, but Cal Macdonald halved the deficit with a penalty on 41 and early in the second period Aled Hughes levelled it.
Bethesda got a second wind and goals from Kyle Hartleb on 53 and Tomos Hughes after 59 sealed their victory.

Four Crosses 3 Talysarn Celts 2
Talysarn rallied from 3-0 down at half time to make a real fist of things after the break, but they finished up narrow losers.
Rueben Coslett-Hughes, Max Thomas and Lewis Birch all netted in added time at the end of the opening stanza for the Foxen Manor hosts.
Luke Baum scored twice for Celts after the break, but it was not quite enough.

Glan Conwy 0 CPD Y Glannau 4
Ste Kirk was on the mark twice for Y Glannau whose other goals came via the returning Harrison Bellis and new signing Matt Pleavin.
The visitors ended the contest with nine men, Ashley Bamber being red-carded on 72 minutes and Jake Reddaway shown a second yellow in added time.

Glantraeth 0 Gwalchmai 5
This battle of two Anglesey sides who have both faced major squad rebuilding jobs over the summer went convincingly in Gwalchmai’s favour.
Leon Owen (2), Alan Mark Owen, captain Darren Roberts and player-manager Craig Evans shared the goals for the visitors, who only had 12 players available.

Paul Lindfield and sub Scott Davies supplied the second half goals which ensured Hawarden advanced against Central Wales League South opponents.

Morgan Thomas (4, 1 pen), Jay Sutton (2), Billy Bibby, Azz Rogers and captain Kyle Johnson split a nine-goal haul for the dominant Amateurs, Josh Griffiths and Ashley Andrews (pen) responding for the hosts.

Captain Zac Davies and Osian Williams both bagged hat-tricks as Penycae hit a magnificent seven on the road, Thomas Blaze also on the scoresheet for the Wrexham area visitors.
Fellow tier 3 side Kerry only had a Luke Mumford penalty to show for their efforts.

Lex XI 1 Builth Wells 1 (Lex won 6-5 on penalties)
Real drama at Stansty Park, where 10-man Lex forced penalties through an injury time equaliser and then went on to triumph in a shoot-out.
Josh Betteley was red-carded for the Lawmen on 20 minutes and it stayed 0-0 until 75 had gone when Bradley Rollinson put Builth Wells in front.
It looked like the Ardal North East visitors were going through until Lex sub George Baxter levelled the match on 91 minutes.
Penalties it was and perhaps fittingly in the week we said farewell to a Liverpool, Wrexham and Wales legend, the hero for the hosts was a player called Joey Jones, the keeper saving the 12th spot-kick of the contest to send the Law through.

Llandrindod Wells 2 Llangollen Town 3
Captain Meuryn Hughes (2) and Hari Gould put Llangollen into a decisive three-goal lead before replies from subs Samed De Groot and Ruben Edwards revived Llandrindod’s hopes.

Llandudno Junction 1 Nantlle Vale 1 (Nantlle won 5-4 on penalties)
Vale prevailed 5-4 on penalties at The Flyover after the tie ended 1-1.
Ollie Clarke struck first for Junction on 20 minutes before Llion Griffiths levelled after 27.

Curtis Cook plundered a hat-trick, which included a penalty, in a comfortable win for NFA at Cae Nant.
Sion Williams also netted for the visitors, Adam Harvey-Davies responding for Dyrny.

Lightning failed to strike twice for Gaerwen as they lost out to a club they beat on penalties at this stage of last season’s Welsh Cup.
On this occasion tier 3 Llanfair were in control, Josh Astley (2), Ryan McVeagh and Karl Seliaerts sharing the goals.

Joe Evans (2), Lewis Jones, Alex Jones and Steffan Marshman provided the goals for the victorious Daffs, Ywain McGuire Jones and Dylan Williams responding for the fifth-tier travellers.
Llanfair put up a good show, levelling at 1-1 and battling back to just 3-2 down at different stages.

Second half goals from Callum Roberts and Dion Owen sent Llannerchymedd through to qualifying round two.

Great result for Llanrwst away to one of tier 3’s top sides, Macsen Rhys-Williams and Sam Thomas grabbing the goals on 35 and 79 minutes respectively.

Seventeen-year-old substitute Leo Waterhouse delivered an 81st minute winner for Machynlleth over their Anglesey visitors.

First half strikes from Kurt Hellfeld and Marvin Pritchard secured a superb result for Llanberis at Clostanymur, Owen Davies replying for the hosts on 71 minutes.

Mynydd Isa 2 Nefyn United 3
Rhys Williams’ 85th minute net-finder clinched a hard-earned win for Nefyn at tier 3 newcomers Mynydd Isa.
Braden Lavin and Sam Wainwright put the hosts two-up inside 21 minutes, but Tomi Evans cut the deficit before half time and Iwan Griffiths made it 2-2 on 69 before Williams supplied the winner for the Penwaig.

Penyffordd Lions 1 Knighton Town 6
Jack Hoyle’s hat-trick in the last 10 minutes put the seal on a thumping win for Knighton.
Luke Boundford (2, 1 pen) and Kieran Dovey added the rest for the visitors, Dan Shaw with a consolation for Penyffordd when they were 3-0 down.

Porthmadog 1 Barmouth and Dyffryn 0
Zac Pike’s 28th minute goal banked a narrow victory for tier 3 hosts Porthmadog.

Prestatyn Sports 1 Penmaenmawr Phoenix 3
It was hard to keep up with the Joneses on Saturday’s scoresheet at The Meadows.
Jamie Jones put Pen one-up on four minutes, Mike Jones levelled from the spot after nine, Ethan Jones restored the away lead in first half added time and Ricky Jones made it 3-1 early in the second period.

Welsh Cup winners back in 2013, Prestatyn went out at the first hurdle to Corwen on Saturday.
Harry Strong, Calum Butler and Calyn Spencer notched the away goals, Zebb Edwards replying with a header for the Seasiders.

Josua Jones and new signing Owain Jones-Owen both scored in the first half of Pwllheli’s cup success over Amlwch.

Cameron Mills struck first for the hosts and Rhys Thomas made it 2-0 after 12 minutes before the Quarrymen battled back to level through Cai Price and Gethin Roberts, only for Thomas to restore the home lead close to the interval.
Cai Jones made it three-apiece on 58 minutes and penalties were looming before Ollie Leadbetter and Oscar Davies bagged late strikes for the Powys men.

Second half substitute Louis Gizzi marked his Rhos debut with a hat-trick in a ruthless demolotion of island visitors Pentraeth.

Alfie Harrington (2), Jay Thelwell and James Dunseath guided Saltney to a comfortable win over tier 5 visitors Holyhead, who responded through a Craig Moore penalty.

Jordan Walker, Joe Mitchell and Iwan Mitchell delivered the goals which earned Sychdyn a place in the next stage.

Welshpool Town 1 Meliden 1 (Welshpool won 5-4 on penalties)
Heartbreak for Meliden after a long Saturday night trip saw them lose on penalties.
Jake Ellison handed Welshpool a 13th minute lead, but Macauley Ross restored parity on 21 and 1-1 is how it stayed, necessitating that shoot out which the Lilywhites edged.

Chirk AAA 1 Kinmel Bay 1 (Kinmel Bay won 6-5 on penalties)

Kinmel Bay emerged victorious on penalties after a 1-1 draw which saw Chirk’s Tom Freeman strike first on 32 minutes before Sean Sheridan equalised with 39 gone.
