Football: Llandudno women’s manager Billy Fuller has stepped down

Billy Fuller will probably go down as the manager with the most successful win ratio in Llandudno Football Club’s history!

Sadly, he was only in charge of the women’s team for seven matches – six of which were won. Tudno amassed 44 goals over those seven games, conceding just eight.

Today, Fuller announced he is stepping down as Llandudno Ladies manager after the reigning Genero Adran North champions’ 6-1 home victory against Flint Town United. He leaves the team top of the standings.

Fuller took charge at the start of the season, having last term been assistant to Jordan Hadaway as the team landed the tier 2 title for the second time in three campaigns.

“Llandudno is a great club which I have a lot of respect for, my time here has been amazing and the talent on offer is ridiculous,” said Fuller.

“I hope to see continued success from afar whilst I concentrate on being a better husband and father.”

Previous assistant to Fuller, Jay Davies will now take the helm until the end of the season.

Grassroots North Wales wishes Billy all the best. His assistance this season has been invaluable to us.
