Holyhead Hotspur have signed one of Ynys Môn’s top young talents.
Midfield maestro Caio Steffan Evans arrives at the New Stadium after three fantastic seasons at Porthmadog.
He made 112 first team appearances for Port, playing a major role in last season’s Ardal North West promotion campaign.
Evans joined Porthmadog from Caernarfon Town in July 2023 where he played for the U19 Development Squad and also made his senior debut in the JD Cymru Premier.
He was named Port’s player of the seaon in 2023/24 and again in 2024/25. A creative and influential midfielder, Evans possesses the talent to become a huge asset to Hotspur at Tier 2.
A Hotspur statement said: “The 21-year-old arrives at the club having been instrumental in Porthmadog’s promotion campaign last season, establishing himself as one of the most sought-after young talents on the island.
“Caio’s signing further demonstrates the club’s commitment to giving local-based players from across the island the platform and opportunity to showcase their talent.”
