Catching up with two new signings at CPD Llanerchymedd

Time to meet two new signings made by Ynys Môn club CPD Llanerchymedd.

Jamie Patterson joins from CPD Gaerwen, while Matthew Parry makes the switch from CPD Pentraeth.

Both forwards featured in Saturday’s thrilling North Wales Coast West Division One 3-2 win over Bethesda Rovers in which Medd recovered from 2-0 down to grab victory in added time courtesy of a deciding goal from – Patterson!

JAMIE PATTERSON

Aged 27, Jamie has played for a fair few clubs in his career with records dating back to 2021-22 when he represented CPD Cefni.
He remained with Cefni until January 2023 when he signed for Llanfairpwll, netting on his debut in a 4-1 triumph over CPD Mountain Rangers.
Patterson was a Llanfair player until September 2023, when he arrived at Bethesda Rovers, making the scoresheet twice in his first game versus Bontnewydd.
He certainly has a habit of finding the net on his debut for clubs!
In the 2023-24 season. he notched nine goals in 14 appearances for Rovers before briefly joining Glantraeth at the start of 2024-25 but soon rejoined CPD Cefni.
He bagged 12 goals for Cefni but at the start of 2025-26 was a new face at Gaerwen – and yes, you’ve guessed it, he scored twice on debut in an FAW Amateur Trophy tiw against Berriew.
Last season saw Patterson hit a career best 24 goals for the Auctioneers – 12 for the first team and 12 for the Development side.

MATTHEW PARRY

Parry, 23, joins Llanerchymedd after three seasons at Pentraeth, where he netted 15 goals in total.
Prior to that, he had spells with Arriva and Llangoed and District.
For the Busmen, he hit seven goals in 2022-23.
Llanerchymedd said of Parry: “Another Attacking player who is direct, comfortable on the ball and his attacking player will no doubt cause a lot of opposition defenders problems throughout the season.”
