Mia Roberts scored a 14-minute hat-trick as Bangor went on the rampage at NFA.
It was the Anglesey 19-year-old’s second senior treble, her previous one coming against Flint Town United in 2022-23.
Bangor were on fire from the start at Ffordd Derwen, Ashleigh Jones netting twice within the first nine minutes with assists from Cerys Macdonald and Ella Jones.
Ashleigh Jones turned provider on 20 minutes, setting up Ella Pickstock for number three.
After the break it was mainly the Mia Roberts show.
She opened her account on 47 minutes from a Cerys Macdonald assist, then Erin Basinger struck on 54 to make it 5-0.
POTM Basinger added two assists which enabled Roberts to complete her hat-trick by the 61st minute.
Mia Wall notched a consolation goal for NFA.
Bangor manager Aron Griffith said: “Outstanding today, the girls did us proud. With us trying some new things going into this game, it could have gone either way but we adapted well to the transition, played some amazing football throughout the 90 minutes. We’ve got a core of girls now who give everything each week and we love to see it.”
Bangor had lost their opening Group 1 match 6-0 to a strong Connah’s Quay outfit, but Sunday saw a considerable improvement from the dark blues.
Griffith added: “After last weekend’s defeat we needed to have a response and we did, all the hard work we’ve been doing finally shows on the score sheet.
“Everything we’ve been asking the girls to do they’ve done so we’re expecting the same response each match day now.
“After having 4 cup games, we finally get to kick off our league campaign next weekend against Flint. They’re a team in fine form lately so we’ll need to approach that match with the same energy as today.”

Felinheli manager Aaron Jones-Evans could not hide his disappointment at Sunday’s result in Powys, but felt decisions from the official did not help the visitors’ cause.
Llanfair have an improved look this season and took the points courtesy of goals from Sophie Cook, Harriet Davies and added-time match-winner, 17-year-old sub Becky Jones, Felin’s two responses coming via Jenna Allsup on 27 and 76 minutes.
Jones-Evans said after the game: “A lot to feel aggrieved about in this game, but that’s football, we shouldn’t put ourselves in these situations where the game depends on the referee making the right calls. We take full responsibility for the result.
“I am very proud of my players today, having so many first teamers missing, big characters and experienced players, the players that were there really held their own against a well drilled Llanfair side.
“We had players like Ellie Jones playing at RB, a role she has never played before, Hana Wellings playing CB and many more playing out of position but they all put in a massive shift, no complaining just getting on with what they can do for the team.
“A big shout out to Elsi Williams and Seren Ellis for their debuts, Elsi playing a full 90 minutes and really showing that she belongs at this level.
“I’m disappointed in the result, the girls are too, but I am happy with the effort and the togetherness they all showed, it bodes well for the future of this club and sometimes bigger lessons can be learnt in defeat.”
Felinheli made the long trip down to Llanfair to play their second game of the Adran Trophy group phase.
Having won their first game, a hard fought 1-0 victory over Rhyl, Felinheli were optimistic, but the squad was hit by illness on the morning of the game with club captain Kelly Jones not able to play and also no less than seven first team players missing.
Nevertheless, the team set out to play with some very promising youngsters turning out for them.
Before kick off there was uncertainty about the game actually being played with heavy rain affecting both goal-lines and the referee expressing his doubts about player safety and reluctant to play as the weather was not easing. After some persuading from the home side, the game went ahead half an hour later than scheduled.
The game started with Felin fielding a makeshift back four with their usual threat up top, Ellie Jones covering at right back and giving a debut in the front three for 16 year old new signing Elsi Williams.
Llanfair took control of the game and seemed to settle into a rhythm creating a lot of openings but not really troubling Catrin Beech in goal for Felin. Felinheli grew into the game and started to create chances and openings but safe to say Llanfair were in control of the half.
However, the visitors broke the deadlock. A free kick to Felin on the 40-yard mark after 27 minutes was floated in by Jordanne Greenough and fell kindly to Jenna Tugwell-Allsup, who as usual, in the right place at the right time, slotted home to make it 1-0.
Felin’s defence was holding their own until the 37th minute when a mix up between Greenough and Beech presented Cook with an easy chance she made no mistake with.
Half-time: 1-1
Felinheli started the second half slow with again Llanfair controlling the pace and Mary Bailey’s stunning 25 yard strike rattling the crossbar.
On 53 minutes Llanfair took the lead from a bizarre decision from the referee. After a tussle in midfield Mary Griffiths released the ball to Harriet Davies who appeared well offside.
Felin manager Jones-Evans said: “Everyone stopped, but Davies carried on with her run and slotted home much to the disappointment of the home side, a clear error from the referee but you always play to the whistle.“
With Felinheli chasing the game the manager made his changes, one forced due to an injury to Greenough, promising 16 year old right back Aleysha Powell replacing her, and Seren Ellis and Kyla Cain coming on for Nel Huws and Llio Emyr.
With some tweeks to the formation and a shuffle in positions Felinheli were on top, pressuring and creating openings, Ellie Jones, Jordan Roberts and Elsi Williams all going close but the equaliser came from another set piece.
This time Jordan Roberts was the provider, playing a lovely ball into the danger area and again Tugwell-Allsup perfectly positioned to make it 2-2.
Felinheli were well on top for the last 10 minutes with Llanfair still holding a threat going forward. Tugwell-Allsup weaved her way into the box in the 89th minute only to be taken down from behind for what seemed to be an obvious penalty, but the referee waved play on
A minute later Llanfair scored the winner. With Felin pushing for a goal they were caught on a counter with Jenna Bell-Tomkinson releasing Becky Jones to apply the finish.
Beth Roberts scored no less than SEVEN goals as Henllan’s first home league match as a senior side at Top Park ended in a rout.
Abby Cattell and Rhian Edwards added hat-tricks apiece, Mabli Fitzgerald and Lleucu Williams also on target.
Mary Newman scored Welshpool’s consolation.
An eight-goal blitz at Central Park sent Pwllheli coasting into the next round of the NEWFA Challenge Cup.
Jini Owen Hughes showed some of the form which made her such a sensation last season, scoring four times for the visitors.
Lois Thomas added a double, Erin Williams and Luned Hughes one apiece.
