Dulanjala Mendis claimed a stunning 5-16 off 22.2 overs as Colwyn Bay romped to an away win which lifted them to second in the First Division.
Sri Lankan left-arm spinner Mendis sent down 14 maidens in his amazing spell, part of home side Fleetwood’s collapse to 66 all out in 44.2 after being put into bat.
Bay’s bowlers were miserly and right on the spot, Paul Jenkins collecting 3-11 off seven.
In reply, Bay quickly reached 69-3 in 14.5, Zack Gidlow taking centre stage with 41 runs off 33 balls, hitting seven fours and a siz.
Nathan Roett claimed club best figures of 6-18 as Northop Hall made light work of seeing off hosts Caldy on Saturday.
West Indian new-ball ace Roett boosted his league wickets total to 38 at 9.45 apiece in the Flintshire side’s latest success.
Caldy were asked to bat and found themselves rolled over for just 53 in 19.4 overs, Liam Evans Ford also scooping 2-20 for the visitors.
Hall eased to 54-3 in 22 overs, Roett 25 not out and Andrew Watkin 22 no to complete a 20-1 points triumph for the fourth-place victors.
A drawn encounter at The Rookery saw Prestatyn produce a number of pleasing performances with bat and ball.
Inserted by the hosts, the North Wales visitors posted 194-9 declared off 55 overs, Rohit Kaimal top-scoring with 44, Benjamin Hughes and Aarya Jadhav adding 33 apiece and skipper Andy Taylor 23.
Trinity’s response ended in 179-7 off 44.1, Jack Cheetham picking up 3-36 and Jadhav 3-65.
