Ten top signings of the summer in North Wales women’s football

Laura Williams (to Flint Town United)

Legendary figure in Flintshire football was Flint’s biggest signing of the summer.
Prolific markswoman in the past for Northop Hall, The New Saints and Tranmere Rovers, Laura Williams, nee Pennington, marked her debut for the Silkwomen with a classy double in a 5-3 Adran Trophy win against Llanfair United..

Hannah Owen (Llandudno to Bangor City 1876)

Star of many games for Llangefni Town between 2021-22 and 2024-25, scoring 21 goals in 87 appearances, this flying winger performed well in a struggling Llandudno side last season and now brings her talents to Bangor, where she has already made a fine start.

Jess Jones (Bangor City 1876 to Llangefni Town)

With 81 goals in 53 appearances for Llangefni before a long injury lay-off, Jess needed no introduction when she returned to the Ynys Môn club in July.
Had a brief spell with CPDM Bangor last term, but now back home with the club where she has made her name as an unstoppable goal-getter. Scored on her Cefni return on Wednesday night.

Lleucu Williams (CPDM Henllan to Denbigh Town)

What a brilliant signing for Denbigh Town, who have brought in a few good names over the summer.
Lleucu was a top-notch performer for CPDM Henllan for two seasons and now aims to shine in a Denbigh side where she has already been catching the eye.

Baileigh Aaron (Kinmel Bay to Towyn)

As well as scoring 18 goals in 13 league games for Kinmel Bay Girls Under-17s last season, this 17-year-old livewire also produced some scintillating displays for Kinmel’s senior team.
Now she has made a stunning start for new side Towyn, bagging five goals in her opening two games.

Angharad Wynne Jones (Llandudno to CPDM Y Felinheli)

Eighteen-year-old star netted FIVE goals on her Felinheli debut in a cup caning of Prestatyn Sports.
Showed plenty of quality in two seasons for Llandudno in Adran North, but now looks a good bet to progress further for Tier 2 outfit Felinheli. Fast, tricky forward who will test defences this season.

Natasha Thomas (Ipswich Town to Wrexham AFC Women)

Jamaican international can only add class and goals to an already impressive Wrexham forward line.
Between 2015-2026, Thomas made 260 appearances and scored 175 goals for Ipswich Town, whom she left as the club’s record appearance maker and all-time top scorer.
Netted on Adran Premier League debut,in a 4-0 win over Aberystwyth Town.

Sienna Perry (Wrexham to Connah’s Quay Nomads)

Nomads have a penchant for signing great players named Sienna – remember colossal defenfer Strapp?
Talented teenager Perry was Nomads’ first summer arrival and is well-known to new manager Andy Griffiths after the pair helped Wrexham lift the Genero Adran U19s title last season.
Sienna bagged 17 goal contributions in 14 matches last season and should fit in very nicely with the Genero Adran North champions.

Chelsea Evans (Llandudno to Northop Hall)

Hard-working midfielder returned to the club where she has enjoyed some great times in the past, including winning the North Wales League title.
The 27-year-old last played for Hall in 2021-22 before going on to represent CPD Y Rhyl 1879 and Llandudno in Adran North.
With plenty of Tier 2 experience, Chelsea should shine in the North East Wales League for the Flintshire side, for whom she scored in a 9-0 victory last weekend against Buckley Town.

Elin Murley (Trearddur Bay to Amlwch Town)

Back at Amlwch Town after the club temporarily folded last season. Elin spent the 2025-26 campaign at Trearddur Bay.
Industrious player who netted twice on her return to Lon Bach in last weekend’s 5-2 victory at Prestatyn Sports.
