Brickfield Rangers land fantastic awards double, Canaries striker Clarke rewarded in Cymru Premier

Brickfield Rangers’ fantastic start to the season in Tier 2 has been recognised with a double award.

Gareth Wilson and Andy Vale have been named Novira Cymru North Manager of the Month and Player of the Month respectively for July/August.

After the first weekend of September, Brickfield lead the Cymru North table with six wins in seven matches and just four goals conceded.

Wilson, manager since 2020, led Brickie to the Tier 3 Ardal North East title in 2024-25 – the biggest honour in the club’s 50-year history.

One of the key players behind Brickfield Rangers excellent start to the season has been Andy Vale. The 27-year-old has scored ninr league goals already this season, including a hat-trick in the 5-0 away win over Gresford Athletic. Vale also scored twice in victories over CPD Llanuwchllyn and Penrhyncoch.

CAERNARFON’S CLARKE IS CYMRU PREMIER PLAYER OF MONTH

Zack Clarke of Caernarfon Town is the Novira Cymru Premier Player of the Month for July/August.

Clarke, 23, has scored a fantastic nine goals in seven matches in the Canaries’ impressive start fo the season which has delivered five wins in seven matches.

The striker is in his second spell with the Cofis.

In 2023-24 he netted 12 goals for Town in all competitions and followed up with nine in 2024-25, including one in Caernarfon’s famous 2-0 European debut victory over Crusaders OF Northern Ireland, before switching to The New Saints in February 2025.

He was back at Caernarfon last season, scoring six times for the Welsh Cup winners.
