Prestatyn Wanderers Reserves 1 Llysfaen Development 10

Man of the match Lee Fallas and Harry Davies both notched hat-tricks as Llysfaen rattled up double figures at Rhyl Leisure Centre.

Davies bagged his treble inside the first 13 minutes, while Fallas struck on 26, 32 and 75.

Other goals in a dominant away performance were produced by Jacob Benjamin, Josh Edwards, Jacob Allen and Cian Urquhart. Thomas Jones replied for the home team.

Winning manager Dan Ashton said: “In all, happy with today’s performance. Played some really nice football when we wanted to.

“Think we took the foot off the gas in the second half a bit, which given the score line is understandable, but the lads all played their part from the starting 11 to the subs.
“Roll on next week. “

NFA Development 2 Kinmel Bay Development 2

Honours even at Ffordd Derwen, where Lewis Doherty grabbed an equaliser for Kinmel Bay a minute over the 90.
Sam Lee and David McHugh put NFA two-up before Doherty pulled one back a couple of minutes before half time.
Then came that late equaliser before the hosts had Liam Bowers sent off for a second yellow card.

Penmaenmawr Phoenix Development 3 Bow FC Reserves 2

Phoenix defeated the leaders to take over top spot after a third straight win.

Evergreen veteran Peter Williams, 45, netted twice for the hosts, with Thomas Harrison also on the mark.

Pen led 2-0 before Kev Gorry and Richard Hill scored goals two minutes apart to level the match.

Williams delivered a 71st minute decider.

CPD Y Glannau Development 1 Llanfairfechan Town Reserves 6

The 17-year-old scored on two, 44 and 83 minutes at Betws-yn-Rhos.

Jordan Davies-Jones replied for Y Glannau, who had James Burke dismissed for a second yellow in the latter stages.

NWCFA DEVELOPMENT LEAGUE WEST

CPD Llanberis Development 2 Trearddur Bay Development 4

Trearddur Bay continued their promising start to the season with a 4-2 success at Ffordd Padarn.

Having won their opener 12-0, the Anglesey side’s triumph over Llanberis was not as emphatic, but it was still a handy victory.

The Beach Boys started brilliantly and found themselves 3-0 ahead within 20 minutes, Thomas Lennon, Noel Owen and Luke Jones on the score sheet.

Bay kept the ball brilliantly until a miscommunication resulted in Llanberis’ Jac Davies getting the home side a goal back after 34 minutes.

This did not deter the islanders’ passing game and they saw out the reminder of the half, retaining the ball well and working hard when not in possession.

The second half saw Bay start well again and Sion Thomas added another goal in the 58th minute.

The game became scrappy and neither team were now in control. Both sides picked up injuries within the last 20 minutes.

Llanberis added another goal in injury time after Dan McGinness, standing in as goalkeeper, was adjudged to have handled the ball outside the box.

McGinness saw red and Owain Roberts lashed in the resulting free kick.

This week saw Luke Edwards stand down as joint manager of Trearddur Bay Development due to work and family commitments.

The club said: “Luke has had a huge input into the young lads’ development over the last few years. We would like to thank Luke for all his hard work and we hope to see him back once he frees up some time.”

Llanrug United Reserves 3 CPD Nefyn United – tim datblygu 0

A double from captain Ywain Jones and a single goal by Jack Parry ensured Llanrug took the points at Eithin Duon.

CPD Pentraeth Development 2 Bontnewydd Development 1

Harry Sutton bagged the 91st minute goal which banked Pentraeth Development their first victory.

Owen Wallace had edged the Anglesey side in front on 22 minutes before Elis Davies restored parity with 37 gone.
