CENTRAL WALES NORTH LADIES FOOTBALL LEAGUE

Newtown 0 Wrexham Foresters 15

Playing their first game in seven weeks, there was no sign of rustiness as Foresters romped to a 15-0 win at Latham Park.

Anna Thomas and Kirstie Kural scored five goals apiece, Savannah Miller and Louise Wilson both struck twice and Laura Evans added a single.

Kural, fresh from her heroics with England Futsal, boosted her season’s goals tally for Foresters to 56, while Thomas is now up to 30, Miller has 29 and Wilson 11. Both Kural and Wilson provided five assists.

Two players were red-carded early in the second half – Erin Thomas of Newtown and Wrexham keeper Laura Fuller.

Foresters have now won 12 out of 12, with 130 goals scored and only four conceded.

Coedpoeth United 1 Airbus UK Broughton 7

Seven-goal Airbus lie second, six points behind Foresters with a game in hand.

Courtney Page (3), Phoebe Roberts (2) and Ffion Jones (2) shared the away goals, Jade McHugh replying for Coedy.

Northop Hall 1 Berriew Development 2

Tyler Price’s goal for Northop Hall turned out to be a consolation with net-finders from Katie Price and Lois McCarthy Humphreys winning the day for Berriew.

Tregaron Turfs 1 Llanidloes Town 1

Delun Roberts put Tregaron ahead in the 56th minute, but Phoebe Short equalised on the 90 to secure the Daffs a point.
