Pakistan international Usama Mir claimed 5-67 as Colwyn Bay pulled off a sensational victory at second-place Ormskirk.
Bay continued their recovery from an initial sticky return to the Premier League with a 25-4 points success at Altys Lane.
Ormskirk won the toss and batted but were bowled out for just 157, Mir’s five-wicket haul well supported by Patrick Glover’s 2-27 and 2-46 from Paul Jenkins.
The visitors began their reply disastrously, slumping to 14-3 and then 45-5 before an unbroken match-winning partnership of 113 between Adam Campion and skipper George Johansen saw them home.
Campion ended on 59 not out, while Johansen was 45 no, Will Evans having earlier made 27.
Second-place Prestatyn had to settle for a disappointing losing draw at home to rock bottom Parkfield Liscard.
The visitors called the coin correctly and chose to bat, posting 220-9 declared off 54.2 overs.
They were largely indebted to an unbeaten 54 from number nine batsman Ashen Daluwattage.
For the hosts, Sampath Perera scooped 2-31, Shafiqullah Kamal 2-49, Benjamin Hughes 2-53, Adam Tidswell 2-60 and Kieron Tidswell an economical 1-10 off six.
Despite a late rally, Prestatyn finished 17 short of victory on 204-8.
Leo Teal top-scored with 47, Joe Horton made 45 and Rhys Jones 33.
Ankur Malik’s 125 and 50 not out from Ben Slater enabled Northop Hall to set a formidable 246-6 at City Road – but it was not enough.
Hosts Norley Hall got home on 247-6 to seal a 23-8 points verdict.
The visitors, who chose to bat, were 121-4 before a stand of 103 between Malik and Slater took them towards a decent total.
Norley reached their target for six down in the 44th over, Denuwan Dadallage best with 89 and skipper Chris McLoughlin making 55 before Callam Hughes guided them to the finish with 41 no.
Malik took an expensive 3-94 and Alex Smith 2-22 for the losing side.
Unlucky Bay finished up losers by just six runs at home to Ormskirk.
The visitors elected to bat and were dismissed for 122 in 44.3, Michael Lawrenson 34, Arthur Jones 3-29 and Ryan Holtby 3-33 for the hosts.
In reply, the North Wales side nosedived to 69-7 before a late flurry brought them home, but they ended up all out on 116, Shaun Davies 28 and skipper Ross Hudson 23.
Put into bat, the Hall were sent packing for 109, Tom Hellen the biggest contributor with 24.
Liverpool struggled in response, but scraped home on 111-7, Sion Hellen 4-22 and Matteo Evans-Ford 2-29 for the home team.
Steven Edwards took 3-30 and Jack Cheetham 2-50 as Sutton amassed 217-6 declared, opener Kallis Anders scoring 102.
Navneet Kaimal did best with 31 as Prestatyn collapsed to 101 all out, Liam Dodd 5-35 for the home team.
