Zack Clarke made it nine goals in seven games with a super double in Caernarfon’s victory watched by 1,199 at The Oval on Friday night.
Flint posed an early threat when a fierce Ben Hughes free kick was pushed behind by home keeper Connor Roberts.
Visiting stopper Jack Flint was then at his best twice to keep out a Sion Bradley free kick and Ryan Sears angled strike.
Flint shone again to thwart Osian Evans’ 20-yard rocket before Akeel Francis blasted a free kick against the post at the other end.
Finally, the deadlock was broken on 45 minutes when Jordan Piggott fed the ball from the right into the box for Clarke, who teed up a hard-hit right-footer which gave the keeper no chance.
Flint were still very much in this game and only an heroic goal-line clearance early in the second half denied them an equaliser.
Then in the 52nd minute Caernarfon went two-up. A corner from the right was met by the head of Chris Marriott and Clarke guided the ball home from close to the goal-line.

There was much sentiment in the air during the week when Caernarfon Town hero Darren Thomas presented his famous No10 shirt to young striker Osian Evans. And the 20-year-old did the gesture proud in the 63rd minute.
Noah Edwards made a marauding run into the box before laying the ball back for Evans, who buried a lovely shot into the bottom corner.
Clarke was denied a hat-trick when Flint tipped his powerful effort over, while at the other end Roberts saved superbly from Tunde Owolabi before former Everton and Norwich City prospect Charlie Wilson struck the post for the Silkmen.

Goals from George Peers and Oliver Calland secured three excellent points on the road for Mark Allen’s Airbus.
Peers struck in the 20th minute when he finished a low cross via Jordan Evans from close range.
Midfielder Calland’s first goal for the Wingmakers arrived in the 48th minute after Peers set him up. Calland’s deflected shot sailed past a wrong-footed Will Fuller.
Calland saw another right-foot attempt well saved, while Jake Roberts blazed over an open goal late on.
Airbus keeper Louis Fallon produced a marvellous second half stop to foil Mitchel Bates.

Connah’s Quay Nomads 1 Haverfordwest County 1

Jack Walker’s 50th minute goal gave Haverfordwest a surprise 50th minute lead, but Max Woodcock levelled on 73 to earn second-place Nomads a point.

Holywell Town 1 Trefelin 1

Harvey Morris scored direct from a corner in the 82nd minute to earn Holywell their first point since returning to the top flight.
And the Wellmen so nearly won it when Trefelin defender Louis Caramella-Gerrard went perilously close to scoring an own goal.
The visitors had taken the lead just past the hour when Louis Phillips‘ intended cross from the left sailed in over keeper Alex Swindell.

Llandudno 2 Ammanford 0

A comfortable win which could have been more emphatic for the Seasiders.
Nick Grogan headed Tudno in front via a left-sided cross in the 16th minute.
It looked to have become 2-0 when Niall Flint guided the ball into the bottom corner, but the goal was disallowed. It was difficult to establish why, although there could have been a foul by Flint on the defender as he went for the ball.
Early in the second half, Flint headed in from close range but this time was adjudged offside – debateable.
Marc Williams and Flint were somehow denied from close range before Llandudno finally got the second goal they deserved.
Williams played a smart pass into the box for Cammron Morris, who showed great composure to outwit the keeper with a calm finish.
Liam Higgins almost added a third when he hit the post, while the closest Ammanford went was a long range strike which bounced off the top of the crossbar.

Ruthin Town 0 Caersws 3

A third straight defeat for Ruthin who have failed to score in any of those losses.
Ashley Jones struck twice close to half time for Caersws, who added a third early in the second period through Jake Morris.
