St Asaph 2nd XI (1) 79-10 Bethesda (14) 82-3

Leaders Bethesda celebrated an 11th straight win and sit 36 points clear at the summit following a seven-wicket success at Elwy Park Grove.

Put into bat, St Asaph seconds were bowled out for 79, opener Gareth Jones top scoring with 32.

Carwyn L Williams excelled with the ball for Pesda, taking 2-7 from nine overs, Kevin Evans picking up 2-17 and Richard Lee Williams 2-27.

The visitors needed just 17.4 overs to reach 82-3, Carwyn L Williams shining again with 38 not out, David North 2-12 off nine for the hosts.

Bersham (15) 261-5 Gresford 2nd XI (0) 117-9

Skipper Rishan Fernando’s 93 did most to ensure Bersham set a mighty 261-5 off 40 overs.

Put into bat, the Colliers made the most of the opportunity to pile on the pain for the Gresford attack, Maneesha Ayomal Nissanka posting 57 not out and Suresh Lakmal Koswaththage 36.

The visitors were limited to 117-9 in reply, captain George Morris with a battling 48.

Arjun Ar led the way in the home bowling with 3-15, Nissanka with 2-6 and Steffan Lloyd 2-8 from six.

Clwb Criced Caernarfon (0) 79-10 Northop 2nd XI (15) 183-4

Paul Lindfield was the star man for Northop seconds, hitting 82 not out as his team posted 183-4 off 40 overs after being inserted by the opposition.

Caernarfon were sent packing for just 79, Matthew Mullarkey 3-21 for the Flintshire dominators, Evan Collett 2-8, Sandeep Anantharaman 2-14 and Tom Sudder 2-10.

Menai Bridge 2nd XI (15) 166-9 Carmel (0) 24-10

Maximum points for Menai who sit second in the standings.

Winning the toss and electing to bat, the Anglesey side recorded a total of 166-9 off 40 overs, Dion Owen heading the batting chart on 34.

Ieuan Jones took 3-46 and Danny Owen 2-24 for the visitors, who in reply were blitzed out for just 24, Liam Bibby 4-10 and Owen 4-14 for the islanders.

Mold 2nd XI (1) 70-10 Mochdre 2nd XI (14) 71-3

Owen Opie claimed 4-17 and Sean McHale 3-20 as Mochdre seconds blew away Mold seconds’ batting for just 70 runs at Chester Road.

Andrew Butlin also produced a fine new-ball spell of 2-5 off seven overs.

Mochdre eased to 71-3 in just 11.3 overs to seal a 14-1 points verdict.

Ruthin (3) 147-9 Hawarden Park 2nd XI (12) 148-6

A fine away result for Hawarden Park seconds at the Memorial Fields.

Hosts Ruthin opted to bat and notched up a modest 147-9 off 40 overs, opener Duncan Roberts 49 and Jac Evans 37, Josh McVeigh 4-28 and Owen Skillander 2-16 for the visitors.

In response, the Park made it to 148-6 in 35.4, openers Jared Bennett 40 and skipper Skillander 34, then Michael Almond an important 39 no down the order, Oliver Jones snapping up 3-19 and Evans 3-39 for the home team.
