A seventh league win on the bounce moved Chirk four points clear at the Ardal North East summit.

After a goalless first half, the Colliers netted three in a four-minute spell at the start of the second period.

Matty Williams scored on 49 and 53 minutes, with Dale Davies adding another to his collection after 51.

Berriew 4 Carno 1

In-form Berriew recovered from a goal down at half time to take control after the break and scooped another three points.

Ryan Pugh’s 27th minute strike handed Carno a shock interval lead, but Jack Jones levelled on 57 and Norton Collins edged the Rhiewsiders in front after 68.

Steffan Rogers and Richard Davies added further goals to clinch the spoils.

Jake Walker struck after just 19 seconds to send Denbigh on their way to victory at Maesdu Park.

Josh Davies made it 2-0 on 17 minutes and he added a third for the visitors on 57.

The win puts Denbigh top of the table on goal difference, but they have played four more games than second-place Mold Alexandra, who are on equal points.

Kieran Lewis and Gary Jones replied in the second half for the hosts,

Kevin Lloyd was on the mark twice as Llanrug saw off their island opponents at Eithin Duon.

Owain Jones, Jonathan Sadler and Tomi Llywelyn were also on target for the hosts.

After a goalless first half Penrhyndeudraeth took command after the break, Cai Henshaw netting on 70 and 81 minutes before Carwyn Price added a penalty.

Anthony Williams notched the only goal of the game on 22 minutes to clinch three vital points for Llangoed.

It was not a great night for Rovers, for whom Reece Williams missed a penalty and Iestyn Marlow was sent off for two yellow cards.

CPD Cefni 0 Cemaes Bay 3

Cemaes made it 10 matches unbeaten – nine of them wins – with a 3-0 success at Cefni.

Keenan Downey broke the deadlock with a penalty before Dafydd Rowlands made it two three minutes before the break.

Nicholas Owen grabbed a third for the third-place visitors in the 90th minute.

CPD Mountain Rangers 1 Waunfawr 1

All-square at Cae Gors with Dewi Cooke giving Rangers a 24th minute lead before Guto Llywelyn levelled on 75.

Talysarn Celts 3 Holyhead Town 2

Jac Jones’ 70th minute spot-kick was a match-winner for high-flyers Talysarn.

In an exciting first half, the hosts led twice through top marksman Luke Baum, who scored on nine and 25 minutes, only for Ian Williams to bring Holyhead level on both occasions after 23 and 37.
