Vale of Clwyd and Conwy League: Mighty Rhuddlan go nap, Llansannan bounce back in style, Fechan are four-some

Llansannan bounced back from their first defeat of the season in the Salisbury and Co (St Asaph) Vale of Clwyd and Conwy Premier Division in style with a 3-0 home victory over Meliden.

All the goals at the Llan Siro came in the second half, Euros Lloyd, Kieran Kendrick and Jac Glover on the mark for Tom Lewis’ men.

Leaders Rhuddlan Town remain unbeaten and looked mightier than ever in a 5-0 success at Cerrigydrudion.

Rhuddlan took the lead as early as the third minute, Jay Whitehouse ending a really good move after excellent work from Jordan Bellham.

Town soon made it 2-0 through Matty Rees. An injury to the in-form Bellham enforced early changes for the visitors.

Into the second half, and some super football left Connor Bucknall to tap home for 3-0.

Keiran Evans, back after not playing since the first game of the season, made a impact straight from the bench in making it 4-0 with a tidy finish in the top corner. Another excellent move left Ian Davenport to make it five.

Llanfairfechan Town eased to a 4-0 triumph at Rhos United. Ellis Jones, Iwan Jones, James Corey and Sion Devereux provided the away goals.

Bro Cernyw grabbed a winner two minutes from time, Robin Hughes on target in a 1-0 result at Y Glannau.

A good, physical battle in energy-sapping heat saw numerous chances missed until Hughes pounced from a late rebound.

Llanfairfechan Town Reserves overcame Denbigh Development 6-4 in a 10-goal thriller at The Rec.

Elliot Croston and Si Owen grabbed two goals apiece, Liam Lewis and Iestyn Thomas adding one each, while a Joel Rowlands treble and Alfie Harrison single kept the visitors in the contest.

Machno United defeated Rhyl All Stars 6-3. Rhidian Williams (2), Kai Hughes, Dion Lloyd, Ben Mullender and Harry Kirkham shared the home total, Tom Jones, Gethin Roberts and Simon Roberts for the visitors.
