Wrexham Foresters’ latest signing has a genuine eye for goal
Wrexham Foresters‘ policy of bringing in young talent continues with the signing of Evie Wigley – the sixth new arrival of the summer for the Adran North club.
A young, strong forward, Wigley is clinical in front of goal, with an out of possession effort that matches her quality on the ball.
Foresters player-manager Kirstie Kural said: “She works, she presses, she leads the line properly and then she puts the ball in the net.
“Forwards like that change games. She’s got everything you want and I genuinely can’t wait to see her go this season.”
Evie said: “All the women and coaching staff have made me feel extremely welcome and I’m super-excited for this next chapter in my footballing journey.
“I am totally driven to improve the team, both as an individual and as a team player.
“It’s clear to see this club matches my drive and ambitions.”
