Will Evans took centre stage with a dominant ton as the only Premier Division match played on Saturday went in Mochdre’s favour.
Winning the toss and electing to bat, the visitors amassed 315-8 off 50 overs.
Left-hand opener Evans produced the standout innings of 140 off 144 balls, striking 19 fours and a six.
Owen Davies also came up with a fine effort down the order, posting 54 not out off 32 deliveries, cracking eight fours and a six.
On a tough afternoon for the Denbigh attack, Shaun Nash picked up 3-38, Ifan Jones 2-21 and Archie Sussex 2-45.
Denbigh batted well in reply, but lacked that one big innings that could have made a difference.
Ranija Abeysinghe made 50 and skipper Harrison Jones 43 as the home effort finished on 240 all out. Abeysinghe and Jones put on 77 for the third wicket.
James French was the star bowler for Mochdre, notching 5-48 off 9.5 overs, while Joe Chaplin scooped 3-49.
Mochdre won by 75 runs and 18-9 on points.
