Super 12: Who was the star performer in our dozen women players to watch this season?

CPD Pwllheli top scorer Sian Moore

While we still have a promotion play-off final and a couple of league fixtures remaining, let’s draw the curtains on the 2025-26 Grassroots North Wales women’s football Super 12.

🌟🌟 STAR PERFORMER – SIAN MOORE (CPDM PWLLHELI) 🌟🌟

Already the Grassroots North Wales Women’s Player of the Year for 2025,, Sian is also our Super 12 Star Performer this season with a magnificent 20 goals in 22 appearances in all competitions, as well as supplying nine assists.
She is also third highest markswoman in the NWC Kia Llandudno Women’s League with 17 goals.
Prior to 2024-25, super-fit Sian had not scored for Pwllheli, but has now netted 31 goals over the past two seasons after adopting a more attacking role.

Holly Owen Roberts (CPDM Bangor)

Holly (furthest right)

Holly ended her first Adran North season with CPDM Bangor on a high note with a goal in the final fixture – a 2-1 victory at Berriew.
The 17-year-old midfielder has performed well in what has been a difficult campaign for the Citizens, but the potential is definitely there for better things next season.

Anna Jones (CPDM Y Felinheli)

Showed versatility throughout her first season as a Felinheli player by impressing in goal as well as performing in a more familiar midfield role.
Won silverware when Felin lifted the Coast Challenge Cup for a third time in four seasons, pulling the strings in the middle of the park alongside Catrin Evans,

Lexi Walsh (Connah’s Quay Nomads)

After netting a stunning 32 goals in 15 games for North Wales Coast League runners-up Kinmel Bay, this 17-year-old signed for Tier 2 Connah’s Quay Nomads in February.
Was given few opportunities to shine for the Adran North champions and remained on the bench as Nomads lost the promotion play-off for a second season in a row.

Elin Roberts (CPDM Bangor)

Elin Roberts (9 – blue)

Joined CPDM Bangor in November after beginning the season at Llangefni Town, where she made seven substitute appearances.
Featured in eight games for Bangor, mainly as a substitute, and this 19-year-old striker will be aiming to make a mark in her second season with the Adran North club.

Hannah Owen (Llandudno)

Scored four goals in 21 appearances for a Llandudno side which struggled to make an impact in Adran North.
Joined the Seasiders from Llangefni Town at the start of the season and performed consistently for Tudno throughout the campaign.

Becca Eagles (Flint Town United)

Took over as player-manager of Flint midway through the season and was a breath of fresh air, leading the Silkwomen to an excellent third-place in Adran North.
In 18 appearances, this strong and skilful midfielder notched four goals for the team and inspired some great displays.

Magi Pierce (CPDM Henllan)

Henllan’s captain netted two goals in 15 matches for the village side in their second season in senior football.
It has been a tough campaign competing in a strong North Wales Coast League with a small squad at their disposal, yet Magi has typified the sixth-place team’s fighting spirit which brought them four wins.

Menna Evans (CPDM Bangor)

Another season of progression for Menna, with five goals in 17 appearances including an absolute stunner against Y Felinheli.
While 2025-26 has not been the best of seasons for CPDM Bangor, the potential is there for much better next time around and Menna should have a big part to play.

Beth Jones (Llangefni Town)

Beth Jones (blue kit)

Outstandingly consistent defender who played a major role in Llangefni being crowned North Wales Coast League champions.
Scored her first goal for the team in their final match – a 6-2 victory at Henllan.
Cefni were unbeaten title-winners with 15 wins and a draw and conceded just seven goals in those 16 matches, thanks to great goalkeeping from Katie Spruce and Mia Gleave, plus the brilliant defensive work of players like Beth. who also proved to be an attacking asset.

Shelby Wild (Kinmel Bay)

Made 11 appearances for a Kinmel Bay side which finished a magnificent second in the North Wales Coast League.
Tremendously brave shot stopper who produced some outstanding displays over the campaign.

Elan Evans (Caernarfon Town)

Elan (yellow and green kit)

Young striker chalked up nine goals in 12 matches for a much improved Caernarfon side.
Eighteen-year-old Elan hit hat-tricks in games against Kinmel Bay and Trearddur Bay.
In 32 total games for Caernarfon’s first team also going back to last season, the youngster has struck 24 goals.
