Sort out the Cymru Football App please FAW!

When the FAW introduced a charge to use the Cymru Football App this year we had every right to expect an improved service.

However, in many ways quite the opposite has been the case. Some aspects of the product have gone DOWNHILL since the £2.99 a month subscription was imposed.

One particularly disappointing feature of late is the scattered coverage of women’s football fixtures/scores.

The various North Wales leagues are strewn all over the place, instead of grouping them together to make following the female game easier.

For a customer like Grassroots North Wales which compiles a fixture list to publish before each weekend, having to endlessly scroll up and down to find what one wants just isn’t good enough.

Right through the App after tier 3 is a complete shambles, leagues not in order, league tables incorrect.

The North Wales men’s leagues covering Tiers 4 and 5 should run underneath one another, but they are cast around without a care.

With one league, Division One is placed above the Premier Division.

And still the compilers of the App remain seemingly clueless as to the meaning of alphabetical order.

This A-Z format is how fixtures and results are generally presented in the world of sport, so why should the Cymru Football App be any different?

Is it perhaps beyond their capability to list fixtures in alphabetical order?

There are many things happening in Welsh football which are good, and this website highlights them as much as – and in many cases more than – anyone else.

But the service currently provided by the Cymru Football App which we now PAY FOR – be it monthly or annually – is not good enough.
