The FAW Welsh Cup Round One tie between Denbigh Town and Trearddur Bay has been selected for live broadcast on Cymru Football TV.

The tie at Central Park will now kick-off at 19:45 on Saturday 19 September and will be free to watch on the FAW’s new streaming platform.

Novira Cymru North side Denbigh Town, who enter the competition at this stage, reached the quarter-finals of the FAW Welsh Cup for the first time in their history in the 2024/25 season. The Reds agonisingly lost out on a spot in the last four as they conceded in stoppage time in a 1-0 defeat to Llanelli Town.

Trearddur Bay of the Ardal North West – who remain unbeaten in all competitions this season – enjoyed a memorable cup of their own last season as they reached the quarter-finals before falling to top-flight side Flint Town United.

Paul Pritchard’s team have earned a 6-0 win over Llandrindod Wells and a 8-1 victory against Connah’s Quay Town to get to Round One this term.
