Female footballers do it best – and that’s official!
This International Women’s Day weekend saw two of North Wales’ leading football players shine brightly in a fitness competition.
Super-fit Siân Moore, defender-turned-goal-getter for CPD Pwllheli, finished first in the Female Solo section at the Byw and Iach Hyrox event in Caernarfon.
And just seven seconds behind her was Dr Jenna Tugwell-Allsup, midfield powerhouse for CPDM Y Felinheli.
Siân was also second in the Doubles event! After yesterday’s exertions, Siân then went out and played 90 minutes for Pwllheli against Denbigh Town today and scored her 15th goal of the season in a 4-0 victory!
The efforts of Siân and Jenna say a lot about female footballers’ fitness!
Up against shredded competitors – from gym goers to netball players and alike – women football participants came top of the tree!
HYROX is a rapidly growing global fitness competition that blends running with 8 functional workout stations
