After beating the champions at Bryn-y-Castell, Knighton need to win their final league game of the season at Llanrhaeadr next Saturday to qualify for the Ardal Northern play-off against Porthmadog to reach the Cymru North in 2026-27.
Promoted this season as emphatic 2024-25 Central Wales League South champions, The Robins have enjoyed a superb debut campaign in Ardal North East – and one more victory will make it even better.
Saturday’s clash saw Kieran Dovey hand the hosts a 33rd minute lead from a Shane Sutton assist and the points were clinched when Adam Worton made it 2-0 with 88 on the clock, sub Dewi Allen this time the supplier.
Builth Wells 0 Llanfair United 2
Joshua Astley and Arnie Roberts netted either side of half time to bank the honours for Llanfair and bring an end to Builth’s recent good run.
Corwen 2 Bow Street 4
Joshua Taylor (2), Courtney Perkins and captain Rhys Hughes all made the scoresheet to send Bow flying into a 4-0 lead inside 26 minutes of the first half.
Henry Evans and Scott Evans hit back for Corwen prior to the break, but the second period would produce no more goals.
Dolgellau AA 5 Llandrindod Wells 0
Hat-trick dynamo Osian Morris made it eight goals in seven games for Dolgellau since returning to Cae Marian from Cymru North club Brickfield Rangers in March.
The 18-year-old dazzler netted on 12, 33 and 90+4 minutes, captain Gerwyn Williams bagging his 38th goal of the campaign and sub Wiliam Gruffydd was also on target for second-place Dol, who have to rely on Knighton not winning at Llanrhaeadr next weekend to make the promotion play-off.
Kerry 1 Cefn Albion 2
Alex Williams and Thomas Broadhurst struck their 25th and 14th goals of the season respectively as Albion ended their campaign on a winning note.
Sub Ethan Holloway put Kerry ahead on 31 minutes, but Williams levelled on 45 and Broadhurst pocketed the decider after 65.
Ten-man Cefn had Torne Samuels red-carded in first half added time, but held on to win the game and clinch sixth place.

CPD Llannefydd 3 Mynydd Isa 1
After a couple of recent slip-ups, third-place Llannefydd returned to winning ways at the expense of visitors Mynydd Isa.
Tomos Salisbury, Gwion Owen and sub Tomos Edwards delivered the decisive goals for the hosts, James Beck pulling one back for the Flintshire travellers.
Trearddur Bay 1 CPD Pwllheli 2
Sion Roberts netted a match-winning double to make it eight goals in 10 games since joining Pwllheli in March.
Roberts found the net on 20 and 60 minutes to sink the Bay,, experienced midfielder Jay Gibbs replying on 77.
