North Wales Coast East: Kinmel Bay beat champions, Henllan edge seven-goal thriller

Champions Llandudno Amateurs were applauded onto the field by runners-up Kinmel Bay, who then beat the title winners at Y Morfa to end their season on a high.
With a promotion place already secure, Bay finished up just a point behind the Amateurs with 17 wins, four draws and just a single defeat in their 22 matches.
Kinmel will now aim to crown their campaign with some silverware when they take on Mochdre Sports in next Saturday’s Cookson Cup Final at Bastion Gardens, Prestatyn.
It has already been a brilliant season for the club with the Development side winning their East Division title, while the men’s firsts and women’s teams finished second in their respective leagues.
Saturday’s game between the champions and second-place team was a good natured affair between two clubs which share much mutual respect.
The three home goals all came via crosses from the right in a six-minute spell near the end of the first half.
On 39 minutes, captain Mathew Beach delivered a right-sided centre which Steve Kirk brought under control and skilfully slipped the ball for Tate Walker to apply the finish.
Goal number two arrived via a deep Walker delivery from the right which Beach headed home smartly.
And in the 45th minute, Connor Bucknall sent a ball to the back post, Matty Rees sidefooted into the six-yard box and Kirk made it 3-0.

Crozzy 3 CPD Henllan 4
Henllan brought an end to Crozzy’s three-match winning run at the Go Goodwins Stadium.
Captain Sam Rogerson handed the hosts a fifth-minute lead, Alex Thomas levelled on 17 for the visitors, skipper Liam Davies made it 2-1 Henllan with 28 gone, but Aiden McBride equalised before the interval.
Midway through the second half, Emyr Williams nudged Henllan back ahead, McBride made it three-apiece after 79 with this 13th goal of the season, but substitute Tomos Owen Jones’ 82nd minute strike won it for the Vale of Clwyd travellers.
