Put into bat, Abergele were bowled out for 109, Sean McFarlane 3-12, Lalmon Vinayan 2-5 and Tom Thornton 2-10 for Llandudno, who got home on 111-6, Vinayan the match-winner with 49 not out, Lewis Tolond 3-39 and David Moulson 2-34 for the hosts.

Nicholas Parry led the way with 58 and Matthew Harrington added 40 in Bethesda’s effort of 172 all out, Josh Griffiths 4-24 and Joe Griffiths 3-47 for Northop 2nd XI, who posted 153-9 in reply, Leo Greig 32 and James Roberts 31, Andrew Day 2-21 and Ban Parker 2-26 for the Howgets.

Lee Davies took 4-25, Rhys Jones 2-17 and Mali Auty 2-18 as Quay dismissed Mochdre seconds for just 90 off 30 overs, Owen Opie 33, and the visitors hit back with 91-3, Anro Burger 37, to seal a seven-wicket triumph.

Disaster for Buckley as they were bowled out for a paltry 26 chasing 157 for victory.
Pont were put in and recorded 156-9 off 45, Chris Moss 35 and Michael Littler 32, Harry Sprowell 2-25 and Fabio Franco 2-36 for the visitors, whose top score in their response was extras with 8, Vishwa Manawaduge 4-5, Ioan Jones 3-7 and Ben Mason 2-6 for the hosts.

Brymbo 2nd XI (4) 109-10 Dolgellau 1st XI (11) 129-8

Captain Jaco Oosthuizen topped with the chart with 56 as Dolgellau set a modest 129-8 off 35, Ross Roberts 3-15 and Jamie Beale 3-24 for Brymbo seconds, who were dismissed for 109, captain Gareth Pugh 31 no, Jack Williamson an outstanding 5-10 off seven and Jack Williams (3-17) guiding the travellers to victory.

Carmel & District 1st XI (14) 85-3 Denbigh 2nd XI (1) 84-10

Maneesha Ayomal Nissanka took 4-8, Lee Rowles 2-4 and Amer Jamil 2-15 as visitors Denbigh seconds were skittled out for just 84, then Carmel breezed to 85-3 off 22.5, Nissanka completing a great performance with 50.

Corwen 1st XI (11) 86-9 St Asaph 2nd XI (4) 85-10

William Pooler picked up 3-5, Kentus Augustin 2-15 and Caleb Dyke 2-18 as Corwen bowled out St Asaph seconds, who opted to bat, for 85 and the hosts squeezed home by one wicket on 86-9, Pooler a key 34 as the innings dipped from 41-0 to 66-7, Roger Cloete 5-8 off seven, David North 2-9 for the visitors.

Marchwiel and Wrexham 1st XI (15) 40-1 Gwersyllt Park 2nd XI (0) 37-10

A short-lived affair at Marchwiel Hall, the visitors being blown away for just 37, Sam Shoemark 4-5, Chris Woodcock 2-4 and Muhammad Ghufran 2-7 for the hosts, who eased to 40-1 for a maximum points success.

Menai Bridge 2nd XI (12) 141-10 Llay Welfare 1st XI (3) 95-10

Skipper Andrew Wannop made 38 and Luke Robinson 35 in Bridge’s match-winning total of 141 all out, Jack Edwards 4-3 and Tom Davies 3-19 for the visitors, who could only muster 95 in response, Sean Morris 4-13 and Wannop 3-1 for the islanders.

DIVISION THREE

Buckley 2nd XI (2) 121-10 Pontblyddyn 2nd XI (13) 175-8

Prince Rajan claimed a majestic 5-12 for a Pontblyddyn outfit which enjoyed a 54-run victory at Lane End.
Pont seconds were put in and set 175-8 off 40, Daz Wilcock 48, Abe Dey 32, Tom Pool 3-28 for Buckley seconds, who were all back in the hutch for 121, Paul Threlfall 62 and Pool 30, Rajan the best of the away bowlers with Ethan Roberts bagging 2-16 and Christian Wrathall 2-22.

Clwb Criced Caernarfon (1) 59-10 Bersham 1st XI (14) 62-2

Shins Varghese (3-8) and Noufal Khader (3-11) did most to ensure Caernarfon capitulated to 59 all out, Bersham coasting to 62-2 to bank a 14-1 win, Jonathan Lloyd 2-18 for the Cofis.

Connah’s Quay 2nd XI (0) 39-10 Mold 2nd XI (15) 213-4

Joseff Roberts was a Mold 2nd XI hero

On a day where bowlers generally ruled, Joseff Roberts was the exception as he opened the season with 106 off 104 balls – 11 fours and three sixes – in Mold 2nds’ total of 213-4 at the Quay.
Opener and skipper Liam Roberts also hit 60 for the visitors, putting on 164 for the second wicket with the dominant Roberts.
Quay seconds were blasted away for a mediocre 39, Keith Embleton 4-8, Ralph Cornwall 2-6 and Lewis Pringle 2-12 for the resounding winners.

Conwy 2nd XI (3) 83 Bethesda 2nd XI (12) 109-9

Pesda’s 109-9 proved to be sufficient for victory, Philip Davies taking 3-13 for Conwy seconds, who were sent packing for 83 in reply, Sopan Patil 3-20 and John Maloney 2-6.

Abergele 2nd XI (12) 121-10 Halkyn 2nd XI (3) 76-10

Opener Ajan Vijayan’s knock of 56 helped Abergele seconds set a respectable 121 all out, Sam Hamilton snapping up 5-26, Gareth Thomas 2-4 and Sion Barnes 2-15 for Halkyn seconds, who lost all their wickets for 76, Hamilton 30, Rajeev Chandrasekharan 4-1 and Gajanan Hegde 2-11 for the victors.

Ruthin 1st XI (14) 101-3 Hawarden Park 2nd XI (1) 100-9

Despite a determined 47 from opener Gethin Birchall, Hawarden Park seconds could only cobble together 100-9 at Ruthin, Andrew Holliday 3-10 off eight for the hosts, who reached the winning post on 101-3, opener Alun Jones 40.

Opting for first knock after winning the toss, Pwllheli seconds were all out for 80, Anthony Edwards 4-27, Mike Gwynne 3-7 and Luke Marriot 2-4 for Tudno, who reached their target for the loss of four wickets in 20.3, Jack Rimmington 51 not out.
