Some great signings in our latest edition of the Transfer Trail

Joe Angus (to Llandudno)

It’s a big welcome home for goalkeeper Joe Angus, who needs no introduction to Llandudno fans.
Back in March 2023, a 17-year-old Angus showed nerves of steel on his senior debut by saving three penalties in a shoot-out when Llandudno took on Guilsfield in the Welsh Blood Service League Cup.
Although Tudno eventually lost 9-8 on pens, it was a stunning show from Angus, who replaced the injured Shaun Pearson in the second half.
Revenge was sweet, as exactly a year later, Angus was the hero after saving an added-time spot-kick to ensure Llandudno triumphed 3-2 at Guilsfield to bank three crucial Cymru North points.
Angus developed his talents through the Llandudno academy and junior sides before going on to represent the development, reserve and first teams in the senior ranks.
He made 25 first team appearances in all and was the regular choice for the 2023-24 Cymru North campaign.
Still aged just 20, no doubt Angus will be keen to create some new magical memories with the Seasiders.
Gareth (Gaz) Evans (Trearddur Bay to Ruthin Town)

Highly-rated midfielder or right winger with extensive Cymru Premier League experience has made Ruthin Town the latest stop in his long career.

Finishing third resulted in Alan Morgan’s side qualifying for Europe. In the Europa League qualifier against IFK Göteborg, Evans played in the home leg, which Tudno lost 2-1.
Evans joined Caernarfon Town in summer 2017, helping the Canaries return to the Welsh Premier as Cymru North champions before committing to Llandudno for a third time in July 2020.
In 2023, the box-to-box operator switched to Holywell Town, where he spent two seasons before joining Trearddur Bay at the start of the present campaign.
Now 38, he hopes to help Ruthin Town climb off the Cymru North basement. He has won the Tier 2 title three times with three different clubs in his career of well in excess of 300 appearances.
Ruthin manager Colin Caton said: “Gaz will give us leadership and stability on the field. As soon as he left Trearddur Bay, I asked him to come in and help us out. He’s a top player and a great person to have around.”
