SIGNINGS SPECIAL – FLINT MOUNTAIN

Alfie Cunningham, Jack Burman, Owen Stockdale, Paul Kyffin, Lewis Smith, Luca Hogan

Flint Mountain Football Club can confirm the addition of six players ahead of the closing stages of the season.
The JD Cymru North club has moved quickly to strengthen the squad with the signing of Alfie Cunningham, Jack Burman and Owen Stockdale, alongside Paul Kyffin, Lewis Smith and Luca Hogan, as preparations continue for the run-in.
These additions come during a period of transition off the pitch, following the recent departure of the club’s general manager and the appointment of a new club secretary, as they look to build momentum on and off the field.
Among the new arrivals, Kyffin joins as a midfielder after returning from America. He brings valuable experience from his time at Lower Breck and Widnes and is expected to add quality and composure in the middle of the park.
Stockdale comes on board with pedigree, having previously featured for Airbus and spent time within the Chester academy system, adding further depth to the squad.
Smith strengthens the defensive options and also offers versatility in the midfield, joining the club after his time at AFC Knowsley.
Cunningham, Burman, who like Kyffin returns from playing Stateside and previously represented Connah’s Quay Nomads, and Hogan, whose last club was Airbus, completes the list of signings.
Hogan began life at Mountain in style by scoring rhe winner in a 1-0 win over Denbigh Town on Friday night.

Tom Pritchard (Newtown to Connah’s Quay Town – LOAN)

Highly-rated 18-year-old prospect joins Tier 3 Connah’s Quay Town on loan from Cymru North club Newtown.
Ardal North West club Town have worked hard over the past few weeks to secure his arrival.
Pritchard spent six years with the Shrewsbury Town Academy before signing for Newtown, where he has been for the past two seasons. During his time there, Tom has made 11 first-team appearances, including three league starts, and is highly regarded by everyone at the club.
Connah’s Quay Town manager Gary McConnell said: “We’re excited to support Tom’s continued development during his time with us and look forward to helping him progress, with the aim of returning him to Newtown as an even better player.”

David Plesca (to CPD Y Rhyl 1879)

Exciting wide player Saul David Plesca has joined CPD Y Rhyl 1879 for the remainder of the season.
Romanian Plesca, 25, is comfortable operating on both the left and right wing, He brings pace, creativity, and goal threat, with the ability to beat defenders in one-on-one situations and make a real impact in the final third.
A naturally two-footed attacker, he is known for his excellent shooting with either foot, as well as his ability to both create and score goals.
Plesca arrives with a strong footballing background, having played professionally in Austria’s Regionalliga (third tier) with SK St. Johann and Stadl Paura, as well as spells at Barnstaple Town (Step 3) in England and Vis Ariano Arcadia in Italy’s Serie D. Much of his youth football development also took place abroad, adding to his experience across different footballing cultures and styles.

Jake Jones (Porthmadog to CPD Nefyn)

Started a second full season with Port in 2025/26 having enjoyed an impressive 2024/25 at Y Traeth.
A right sided full back or midfielder, the 27-year-old had a considerable impact for Port since rejoining the club from Chirk AAA in January 2024, making a total of 70 appearances for Chris Jones’ men before deciding to join Nefyn.
He previously represented Port in season 2017/18. Was a part of the Connah’s Quay youth set-up, later joining Pwllheli and Llangefni Town.
With a title push in the Tier 4 North Wales Coast West Premier Division in their sights, Nefyn see the capture of Jones as a major sign of their intentions, having already brought in striker Steffan Toplis from T3 Pwllheli in the current window.

Tom Salisbury (Ruthin Town to CPD Llannefydd)

Began current season at Ruthin Town, where he made 16 first team appearances and played in six matches for the reserves, netting four times, before deciding to switch allegiance to Ardal North West club CPD Llannefydd.
In a statement on Friday, Llannefydd said: “Delighted to have Tom Salisbury on board. He was a player that attracted our attention during a number of impressive performances at Denbigh Town last season and we met with him during the summer. He ended up signing for Ruthin Town but he was a player that we remained interested in.
“He’ll add pace to our side and we know he’s a good finisher so we are all really looking forward to working with him. Tom goes straight into the squad to face Llay Welfare tomorrow.”

Just 18, Salisbury previously had Cymru North experience at Denbigh Town, where he also represented the reserves and youth sides, proving to be a prolific marksman.

Elias Jones (to Prestatyn Town)

Experienced 32-year-old goalkeeper whose previous clubs include Prestatyn Sports, Cerrigydrudion and Llannefydd.
He now joins Prestatyn Town, who are targeting a strong end to the Ardal North West campaign.
A club statement said: “The experienced shot stopper is a fantastic addition to our already strong goalkeeping unit, having played in and around the league for a number of years.”

Jac Humphreys (to Denbigh Town)

Former Wrexham academy graduate Humphreys has spent the past four years in the US where he has represented Converse Valkarys, Walsh University and Milwaukee Torrent.
“I’m really pleased to be back home and taking my next steps in football,” said Humphreys.
“Once back from America, I was really keen to get back into it and when presented with the chance to sign for the club, I jumped right on it.
“There’s a talented squad and brilliant facilities (at Denbigh Town) which is perfect for me to come in and progress and add what I can to the club.”

Manager Dewi Llion said “I’m really happy to have Jac on board, he brings a different dynamic to us.
“He’s had a different pathway to most in the Cymru North having spent the last few years playing collegiate football in the US, but comes back now a really good player and someone I’m looking forward to working with.”

Humphreys spent time as a junior with Pwllheli and Bangor before signing for Wrexham. He appeared on the bench twice at 17 before departing in 2021.
He went Stateside to continue his career and education by representing Walsh University and Converse Valkarys in NCAA Division Two.
In March 2025 he signed for FC Milwaukee Torrent for a brief spell before returning to North Wales.
Now he becomes Denbigh’s sixth signing of the January window.
