Bangor romped to their highest league win of the season and made it 29 matches undefeated in all competitions by thrashing an in-form Llay outfit who were unbeaten in their previous 10 games in Ardal North West.
Corrig McGonigle set City on their way with a fourth-minute goal from a Jack Smith assist.
Llay always pose a threat through their consistent marksman Jonathan Collo and it was he who made it 1-1 with his 15th goal of the campaign on 14 minutes, Scott Swords setting him up.
Collo has now found the net in six successive games.
Just a minute later, Bangor regained the lead though Smith, McGonigle this time in the assister’s role.
Tommy Creamer made it 3-1 on 29 and a Dylan Summers-Jones penalty after 34 gave Michael Johnston’s side a commanding interval advantage.
Eight minutes into the second half the blues bagged a fifth, McGonigle with his 25th goal this term from a Tom Clarke assist.
Substitute Jamie Reed notched his 15th first team goal of 2025-26 before the end.
James Sparrow’s 84th minute decider clinched the points for Mynydd Isa.
Jack Aitken had earlier edged the hosts in front on the stroke of half time before Gwion Evans levelled in the 51st minute.
Both sides observed a minute’s silence in tribute to Llannefydd striker Morgan Rees Jones who sadly passed away during the week.
After four losses on the bounce to Trearddur Bay, Porthmadog broke the jinx and remain just three points behind leaders Bangor City 1876 having played a game more.
Tom Hilditch gave Bay a 12th minute lead, but Gruff Ellis equalised after 28.
Just past the hour, Port’s Rhys Alun saw his penalty saved by Paul Pritchard, but goals on 84 and 89 respectively from Jonny Bravo and Gruff John put the hosts 3-1 up.
Hilditch’s 23rd goal of the season seven minutes into added time gave Trearddur hope, but that was the end of the scoring.
A second-half incident which has been widely reported marred what was a good, competitive top-of-the-table encounter.
Cian Pritchard made it five goals in two games for Pwllheli with a double in Saturday’s success at The Rec.
Things started promisingly for Llanrwst when Luke O’Mahoney gave them a 17th minute lead, but the game took a significant turn with 26 on the clock when visiting keeper Cian Williams was red-carded.
Hari Lambe equalised on 36 to make it four goals in as many matches for Pwllheli.
The second half saw Pritchard find the net on 67 and 76 minutes, assists from Josua Jones and Lambe, to make it 24 goals this season for the striker, 18 of them for former club Penrhyndeudraeth, who he left in November.
Lewis Evans and Harri Williams supplied the goals which earned maximum points for NFA, who rose to sixth in the table.
Felin made it no losses in five and edged six points clear of the bottom two with a hard-fought win over Connah’s Quay.
Byron Davis delivered a double for the hosts to make it 21 goals for the season, with Iwan Owen also on the mark.
Lewis James and Pascal Gomez responded for the visitors.
This match was reported in detail on Saturday evening by Grassroots North Wales.
Osian Hughes (3) and Corey Lundstram sealed the points for Pesda, Dan Evans (2) and Harley Crossfield running the Phoenix close.
Jake Walker’s 36th minute goal proved enough to ensure new Prestatyn Town manager Aden Shannon’s league debut was a winning one.
