Final transfer feature for 2025-26 – but we’ll keep reporting on the big moves

Here’s the last of our summer transfer features. There are 14 signings in all, or 21 if you count the fact we mention eight of Chirk’s new faces, but profile just the one.
Grassroots North Wales will continue to cover signings where possible, but with the top three tiers pretty much underway for the 2025-26 season, were drawing a line under the lists of moves.
Tom Freeman (Brickfield Rangers to Chirk AAA + 7 more)

Fantastic news for Chirk AAA is the return of their 2024-25 Player of the Season, free-scoring Tom Freeman.
The Colliers’ top scorer last season with 21 goals, the 30-year-old ended the campaign helping Brickfield Rangers win the Ardal North East title – and promotion to Tier 2.
Although Chirk have been relegated to Tier 4, Freeman has decided Holyhead Road is the place for him this term. He scored in the season’s opener on Sunday, a 1-1 Welsh Cup draw with Kinmel Bay which the AAA’s eventually lost on penalties.
Other new signings for Chirk include ex-Rhostyllen, Lex and Penycae striker Liam Sklenar, who was previously with the Colliers in 2021-22.
