CPD Y Felinheli 4 Connah’s Quay Town 0

Much-missed former Felinheli manager Euron Davies would have been so proud as his team took apart high-flyers Connah’s Quay Town at Cae Seilo.
Before the game, the stand at the ground was renamed Eisteddle Euron in honour of the long-serving club stalwart, who sadly passed away in May aged just 46.
And the team produced a tremendous performance in Euron’s honour, the win lifting Felin out of the Ardal North West bottom five.
The only goal of the first half saw Ryan Cain deliver a free kick into the box, which was headed home by Aled Hughes.
Club record scorer Gruff John made it 2-0 after 64 minutes, latching onto a great pass from Iwan Edwards before finishing clinically into the bottom corner.
John turned provider on 71, finding Iwan Owen, whose chip could only be helped into the net by keeper Richard Walker.
And the job was completed two minutes into added time, Iwan Edwards breaking down the left and passing to sub Aled Emyr, whose first-time finish provided the perfect ending for the emotional home supporters.
Menai Bridge Tigers 1 CPD Y Rhyl 1879 1

Quite a surprise result at Treborth Playing Fields, where second-place Rhyl were held by winless bottom team Menai Bridge.
Visiting keeper Adam Reid was forced to tip over an early effort from the Anglesey hosts before Jonny Bravo amd Dylan Proctor went close for the Lilywhites.
On 41 minutes, 1879 were awarded a penalty when Tigers keeper Caron Hughes collided with Proctor.
Bravo took the kick, but Hughes saved comfortably. Half time 0-0.
The visitors began the second half on the front foot, Proctor laying the ball off to Jason Foulkes, whose effort was cleared off the line.
As the goalless situation wore on, Tigers grew in confidence and on 65 minutes the islanders took the lead through the prolific Jamie McDaid.
Rhyl were now up against it and time was running short before after 82 minutes new signing Paul Fleming found the back of the net.
The Lilywhites were unable to land the winner and were grateful to Reid for a good late stop at the other end.
Rhyl manager Paul Moore said after the game: “Can’t fault the lads’ work rate, we just didn’t take our opportunities.”
Corwen 2 CPD Pwllheli 2

Honours even at the War Memorial Park.
Corwen had some near misses before in the 34th minute Calyn Spencer delivered across the face of the visitors’ goal, where keeper Guto Roberts initially spilled the ball before recovering and launching a counter attack where Iwan Roberts-Jones played in Steffan Toplis, who found the net.
From the kick off, Spencer floated the ball into the opposition penalty area, where Sam Henry headed home to level.
Six minutes into the second half, Corwen’s Tom Weyman collected the ball in space way out from goal.
He looped the ball into the air and it appeared to be going harmlessly over the bar, but dipped suddenly, beating the keeper and finding the net to give the hosts the lead.
On the hour, Corwen’s Robbie Williams was denied by a good Roberts save.
Pwllheli made it 2-2 with 72 played. A free kick was played into the box, where Tyler French scrambled to get his fingertips to a header from Ashley Ainsworth, but could only look on hopelessly as Jack Jones nodded home.
Corwen had some late chances, but there were no further goals.
Llangefni Town 3 CPD Llannefydd 0
Llangefni moved up to second after goals from Aron Hughes-Jones, Osian Jones and Josh Stanley Williams clinched three impressive points.
Nantlle Vale 4 Conwy Borough 1
Kevin Lloyd scored twice in the first half to give Vale a 2-1 interval lead, Sam Parry replying to keep Boro in touch.
Lloyd completed his hat-trick on 68 minutes before sub Danny Bell added a fourth.
Porthmadog 7 St Asaph City 2 (Friday night)
Rhys Alun notched a hat-trick and Cai Jones a double in a convincing victory for the leaders, who played some scintillating football at times.
John Littlemore and Sion Williams were also on the mark for the hosts, Josh Brown and Jake Walker with consolations for Saints.
