CATCH-UP: FAW Reserve Leagues – great result for Prestatyn, Llandudno rally for derby draw

FAW RESERVE LEAGUE NORTH EAST
Buckley Town Reserves 1 Gresford Athletic Reserves 2
Two Sam Bryan goals on 20 and 81 minutes were enough to clinch victory for a Gresford side which had to play the best part of an hour with 10 men after a 39th minute red card for William Evans.
Sam McCormick replied five minutes over the 90 for Buckley, who had Callum Humphries red-carded with 92 on the clock.
Holywell Town Development 2 Llay Welfare Reserves 1
Elliot Bull’s 19th minute strike gave Llay the lead, Marc Davies equalised after 25 and Isaac Adam Goundrey plundered a winner deep into added time for Holywell.
In an incident-packed game, the Wellmen had keeper Leo Deacon red-carded on 29 minutes, while Llay’s Matthew Grundy was dismissed on 56 for two yellows.
The visitors’ Callum Richardson also missed a penalty on 33.
Prestatyn Town Reserves 2 Connah’s Quay Nomads U18s 2
A great effort from Prestatyn earned them a draw against third-place Connah’s Quay.
Jamie Brennan put the Deesiders ahead in the first minute, but Charlie Smith levelled on five and Kev Gorry edged the Seasiders in front with 25 gone.
Dylan Evans made it 2-2 after 29 minutes and that was the end of the scoring.
St Asaph Reserves 2 NFA Reserves 5
Antonio Jacovelli grabbed a hat-trick for a strong NFA Reserves outfit.
Rhys Lloyd and Owen Herbert were also on target for the visitors, Jack Jones and Courtney Weaver replying for Saints.

Llandudno Reserves 2 Colwyn Bay Under-19s 2
Bay led 2-0 at half time through Max McGoona and Ben Roberts, but Llandudno fought back after the break to snatch a draw, Harry Dodwell and Levi Montgomery finding the net.
