NORTH WALES COAST WEST REPORTS – APRIL 17
Premier Division

Cemaes Bay 1 Trearddur Bay 1
Trearddur Bay need 10 more points from the remaining eight league games to be crowned North Wales Coast West Premier champions for 2023-24.
Nine-man Bay still managed to extend their unbeaten league record to 20 matches with a draw in an excellent encounter at School Lane on Wednesday night.
Both sides made a good start but neither could make the breakthrough before in the 29th minute Trearddur captain Dan McGinness was shown a straight red for dissent.
The visitors changed shape and the game remained fairly even.

After 42 minutes Trearddur took the lead with a thunderous strike from Asa Thomas, who made it 48 goals for the season.
Cemaes were kicking downhill in the second half and applied a lot of pressure.
As early as the 48th minute it was all-square when Shane Pell scored with a magificent shot for the hosts.
The 10 men battled well and defended with real determination, midfielders putting in a great shift closing down to stop any of the home possession converting into chances.
Myles Jones was relentless with his running and challenges as were Tom Scott and Callum Mcminimee.
Trearddur also had chances on the break but could not make them count.
The game was pretty even before in the 80th minute a pass put a Cemaes player through with youngster Jake Davies giving chase. He attempted a tackle but unfortunately it was deemed to be a foul and the ref had no option but to send him off as he was the last man.
Now down to nine men, Trearddur saw out the game really well, Les Davies marshalling the back line brilliantly.
Asa Thomas could have sneaked it late on, but his shot was deflected away.
