Analysis: Ardal North West title battle – there’s a long way still to go

There is a long way to go before the champions and runners-up of the Tier 3 Ardal North West League are decided.

With numerous postponed fixtures to be rearranged and several games where the top six will face each other, it will be a fair while before the final placings can be predicted with any confidence.

It appears like there may still be five realistic contenders left in the battle for the 2023-24 title.
Sincere apologies to anyone who I may leave out who still consider themselves in with a chance. If you prove me wrong I’ll be the first to applaud you.

Here are what we consider the chief 5 hopefuls and their remaining games. Each team plays 30 league matches.

The champions will be promoted to the Tier 2 Cymru North, provided they meet the required criteria.

Runners-up will take on the second-placed team in Ardal North East in a play-off final to determine who also goes up to the Cymru North – again criteria dependant.
