Nefyn are up to second in the Premier Division after coming out on top in an eight-goal thriller at home to Llanrug last weekend.
The visitors got off to a flyer, with Jake Calley-Thomas scoring twice within the first 18 minutes, but by half time the Penwaig were level, captain Ifan Gwilym Jones and Elgan Jones on target.
All to play for in the second half, and it was the hosts who took command, Dan Roberts with a double and Ifan Jones again on the mark to put them 5-2 to the good.
Llanrug kept going and replied late on through Osian Williams, but this was Nefyn’s day.
CPD Aberffraw 1 CPD Llannerchymedd 3
Ywain McQuire-Jones gave Aberffraw a half time lead at Cae Cynlas, but Llannerchymedd came back strongly in the second period to win 3-1 thanks to a Dion Owen double and a single from Aidan Gisbourne.
Glantraeth 2 Talysarn Celts 5
Glyn Hughes-Thomas, Aled Llyr Jones, Luke Baum, Jack Usher and Jac Pearce Jones all made the scoresheet as Talysarn chalked up a convincing win at Glantraeth.
Midfield ace Laurence Mandel, a recent signing from Llangoed, hit back with a double for the hosts.
Gwalchmai 4 Cemaes Bay 0
Leaders Gwalchmai made it seven wins on the bounce in all competitions with a hard-earned victory over Cemaes Bay at Maes Meurig.
Although the final winning margin was 4-0, the outcome was not as emphatic as the score suggests, with the second half sending off of Cemaes’ Gareth Cooke when it was just 1-0 having a notable effect on the game.
Josh Owen gave Gwalch a 12th minute lead with a clinical finish after a perfect build-up to hand the hosts an interval advantage.
After Cooke walked for a second yellow on 67 minutes, the red-hot Kaine Bentley struck on 72 and 76 to out the issue beyond doubt.
Dion Owen rounded things off with a fourth home goal in the 83rd minute – a 30-yard stunner.
CPD Llanberis 2 Amlwch Town 1
Ifan Mansoor delivered a 76th minute winner for Llanberis.
Guto Llywelyn had nudged the Darans in front after 13 minutes before James Parker had levelled for the visitors on 72.
