Ardal Northern – big away wins for Llanrwst and CPD Y Rhyl 1879

ARDAL NORTHERN LEAGUE REPORTS – SEPTEMBER 24
ARDAL NORTH WEST
Bethesda Athletic 1 Llanrwst United 5
Five-goal Llanrwst turned on the style at Parc Meurig.
Callum Parry (2), Cynan Edwards, Sam Thomas and Chris Beardmore shared the goals for the dominant Rwsters, Kian Hughes with a sole reply for the outgunned hosts.
Conwy Borough 1 Brickfield Rangers 1
Toby Jones’ 79th minute equaliser rescued a point for the home side.
Brickfield had led through Andy Vale’s 35th minute penalty at Y Morfa.
CPD Llannefydd 2 CPD Y Felinheli 2
Cal Macdonald earned Felinheli a hard-earned point with a 93rd minute equaliser at Llannefydd.
After a goalless first half, it was Macdonald who edged Felin in front two minutes into the second period.
Llan came back strongly. Tom Jones levelling on 51 before Sam Jones made it 2-1 to the hosts after 78.
But Felinheli had a big finish in them and got what they deserved.
Hawarden Rangers 2 Nantlle Vale 3
The North West league’s only unbeaten side, Nantlle Vale, picked up maximum points at the Gladstone Playing Fields thanks to a late decider.
Hawarden struck first on 21 minutes through Josh Robertson, but Jamie Jones equalised after 23 and Cai Morgan nudged Nantlle in front with 35 gone.
When Connor Parry made it 2-2 after 85, a draw looked likely, but Ashley Owen came up with a 91st minute winner after his penalty had been kept out.
Holyhead Hotspur 1 CPD Y Rhyl 1879 4
A much-needed and most welcome three points for the Lilywhites on the road.
Oliver Buckley (2), Reece Fairhurst and Sam Ashton shared the goals for the away side, Deian Parry replying for the hosts.
Llay Welfare 2 Llangefni Town 1

Goals from Rhys Lloyd (64 minutes) and Jared Taylor (70, penalty) were enough to secure the victory which put Llay top of the standings.
Matty Jones‘ late spot-kick for deposed leaders Llangefni was not enough to save them from defeat.
This match was covered in depth by Grassroots North Wales on Saturday.
CPD Pwllheli 2 St Asaph City 0
Steffan Toplis found the net on 10 and 79 minutes to earn Pwllheli an excellent home triumph over St Asaph.
The visitors had Ryan Potts sent off for a second yellow in the 90th minute.

ARDAL NORTH EAST
Bow Street 3 Llanuwchllyn 3
Bow were knocked off top spot and lost their 100 percent record after being held at home by Llanuwchllyn in a six-goal corker.
Ben Davies (2) and John James supplied the home goals, but Michael Pritchard, Gwydion Ifan and an 84th minute equaliser from Meilir Williams banked a well-earned point for the visitors.
Llan’s Pritchard was sent off on the hour after receiving a second caution.
Cefn Albion 3 Llandrindod Wells 1
Tyler Wilkinson, Dion Gibbins and Josh Astley all found the net for an Albion side which moved up to sixth with this victory.
Ashley Jones replied for Llandrindod, who pulled themselves level after nine minutes.
Dolgellau AA 4 Builth Wells 0
Gerwyn Williams’ first-half hat-trick all but ended this game as a contest.
Dolgellau led 3-0 at the break and added a fourth one minute over the 90 when substitute Ieuan Brooks bagged a goal on his first appearance of the campaign.
Penrhyncoch 2 Llanfair United 0
Veteran front man Geoff Kellaway delivered both the goals in this Penrhyn victory, scoring on 27 and 90 minutes.
Radnor Valley 4 Penycae 3
It was a close one at The Bypass, but hosts Radnor edged it thanks to a Ieuan Price double, Joe Price single and another net-finder from Callum Matthews.
Goals from Zac Davies (2, 1 pen) and a Joshua Traylor-Hall OG ensured Penycae were always in it.
Rhos Aelwyd 1 Welshpool Town 1
A massive surprise at Ponciau Park where Welshpool picked up their first point of the season against a team which caned them 6-0 in a cup-tie on the same ground a fortnight earlier.
Ethan Kinsey gave Town a shock first half lead and it needed an Aled Parry leveller on the hour to grab Rhos a draw.
