Llandudno 10 (M Williams 4, Donougher 7, 14, 20, Tradewell 11, 60, F Owen 17, Doran 22, Slaney 51, S Roberts 79)
Llangefni Town 2 (Ginnelly 51, J Jones 75)

Seven first half goals put tier 2 Llandudno out of sight in this NWCFA Challenge Cup tie against third-tier Llangefni at the Flyover Ground, Llandidno Junction.

It was already a tough enough task for Cefni without them being unable to field club top-scorer Jen Cox and regular goalkeeper Jessica Marshall due to the time the match was played (6.30 pm) on what for most is a working weekday.

The home scoring began in the fourth minute when Becky Jarvis-Evans and Stacey Tradewell exchanged passes before Stevie Donougher’s shot was saved by stand-in Leonie Jones, but Maddie Williams converted the rebound.

Donougher doubled the lead on seven minutes in a one-on-one situation with the keeper before Stacey Tradewell made it three after 11, Erin Doran, Donougher and Williams involved in the build up.

In the 14th minute Doran crossed to Donougher, who took on two players in the box before firing past the keeper into the bottom left.

Donougher then assisted with goal number five, finding Ffion Owen who netted from 20 yards.

After just 20 minutes it was 6-0. Ffion Owen laid a quick pass off to Donougher for her hat-trick and eighth goal in two matches.

It was all about pass-and-move for the seventh goal on 22, Tradewell, Donougher, Jarvis-Evans and Williams all involved before Doran found the net.

Six minutes into the second half, Donougher fed the ball to Ceri Slaney who fired home from the left via a 25-yard strike.

Tradewell banged in a half-volley before Shona Roberts made it 10 when she blasted into the top-left after receiving a pass from Doran.

Llangefni notched second-half consolation goals through Nia Ginnelly and Jess Jones.
