Hopes of an all-North Wales national final were shattered as Brymbo lost by seven wickets in Sunday’s semi at St Helen’s.
Current holders Swansea will now take on Colwyn Bay in the final at Usk on September 3.
North Wales League Premier Division title contenders Brymbo won the toss in Sunday’s last-four clash and decided to bat.
Connor Davies top-scored with 52 and skipper Daniel Parry added 35 as the Steelmen finished on 165-9 off their allotted 40 overs.
Asim Hameed was Swansea’s leading bowler with 4-45 off eight.
Two early dismissals from Joseph Norman had the South Walians rocking in reply on 21-2, but skipper Gareth Hayden and Owain Baxter (41) steadied the ship with a third wicket stand of 60.
Tim Moses then joined Hayden and the pair put on an unbroken 85 partnership to lead Swansea to victory on 166-3 off 32.4. Moses finished 47 not out, one run ahead of Hayden.
Norman picked up 2-16 off five overs for the visitors, who gave it everything, but it was not to be for the three-time cup winners.
