The battle for the NWCFA Reserve League title will go down a final day decider this weekend.
Champions Penmaenmawr Phoenix Reserves need a point at home to Nefyn United Reserves to retain their crown. A Nefyn win would earn them the title.
Phoenix are on 36 points from 17 games, while Nefyn have 34 from the same number of matches.
Whoever finishes top comes down to Sunday’s clash at Cae Sling – against each other.
In the previous meeting between the sides this season, Nefyn beat Pen 2-0 at Cae’r Delyn in February.
Nefyn missed a chance to put themselves in a strong position for the title when they lost at home to the Darans.
After a goalless first half, Jonny Cyster emerged as the away team hero with goals on 48 and 65 minutes.
Substitute Rhys Williams replied on 82 for the Penwaig, but it was not enough.
Goals from Harry Benjamin, Ben Hughes and substitute Thomas Harrison secured the win which pushed Phoenix back to the summit.
Cai Tate (2) and Iwan Roberts-Jones shared the goals as Pwllheli saw off the determined challenge of Bow at Recreation Road.
Ethan Evans (pen) and Kyle Lally hit back for the Prestatyn-based visitors.
Sam Jones’ 90th minute penalty salvaged a point for Saints.
Sam Griffiths and Owen Roden responded for Llanrug, who had Ethan Kiernan red carded late on.
