NORTH WALES COAST RESERVE LEAGUE – REPORTS OCT 15-16

Bow recorded their first win of the season in a 10-goal thriller at the Recreation Ground.

Kyle Lally (2), Barry Roche, Macca Lewis, Steven Flanagan and Dean Davies shared the goals for the visitors.

Replying for the hosts were Jamie Baker, Cai Jones, Rhys Griffiths and one of the famous N/A’s.

In a topsy-turvy encounter, the biggest drama came when Bow led 5-4 and Llanfair were awarded a penalty.

Jack Gibbon saved and the visitors counter-attacked to score their sixth.

Wez Hancocks

Tom Dodd’s 96th minute winner sparked absolute scenes in the visiting ranks at Eithin Duon.

Former Welsh Premier striker Kevin Lloyd grabbed a hat-trick and Berian Llwyd a double for the home side, but man of the match Wez Hancocks, with an absolute pearler, Harry Woodfine, Kai Paolucci, Mark Hughes and Tyler Prime hit back for Kinmel Bay.

The visitors led 5-3, but a Lloyd double made it five-apiece before Dodd provided the coup de grace.

A goalless first half at The Rec saw Gavin Owen red carded on 27 minutes for the visitors.

Cai Tate put Pwllheli in front on 55 minutes, but the 10-men were far from finished, Cian Pleming making it 1-1 after 85.

Then in added time, Jonny Cyster banged in Llanberis’ winner.

St Asaph Reserves 2 Bontnewydd Reserves 0

This one stood 0-0 until the 64th minute when an Aaron Flanagan own goal put table-toppers Saints into the lead.

The points were sealed when Frankie Holmes netted a second for the home team in the 86th minute.
